Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A sequence of plural rotary cylinders 1 are arranged along a carrying route for rootcrops such as potatoes. The circumference of each cylinder is partitioned into plural compartments along the rotary axis. The outer periphery of each compartment is fitted with plural thick-walled sponges 3 at specified intervals with their one end fixed. The fixed part is made thin and the circumference of each cylinder is covered with the sponges. Furthermore, pressing sponges are provided above each of the resultant cylinders, thus providing the objective abrasive unit.
