Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ヘツドガスケツトを挟んで互いに締結されるシ
    リンダブロツク及びシリンダヘツドの側面に、タ
    イミングベルト又はタイミングチエン若しくはタ
    イミングギヤーを覆うタイミングカバーを、当該
    タイミングカバーとシリンダブロツク及びシリン
    ダヘツドとの間にシール用のカバーガスケツトを
    挟んで締結して成る内燃機関において、前記ヘツ
    ドガスケツトの端面を、シリンダブロツク及びシ
    リンダヘツドの側面より凹ませ、この凹ませた部
    分に、耐熱弾性体製のガスケツトを、前記ヘツド
    ガスケツトに係着して挿入したことを特徴とする
    内燃機関の気密装置。
