A pull-less changeover switch (for example, trade name SS Switch, manufactured by Chuso) has been developed that allows switching to a plurality of circuits in sequence by repeatedly turning on and off the switch. An example of a circuit configuration using such a pullless type changeover switch is shown in FIG.

L4 is connected, circuits A and B are energized, and the four lamps are turned on, creating a full-light state. Next, when the wall switch 5 is once turned off and then turned on again within a predetermined short time, only the terminals L2, L1, and L3 are connected, and only the two lamps are lit by the circuit A, resulting in a dimming state. Next, when the wall switch 5 is turned off again and turned on again within a predetermined short time, terminals L2 and L5 are connected and the circuit C
is energized and the miniature light bulb lights up. In this way, by repeatedly turning on and off the wall switch, you can change the light state to full light state, dimming state, etc.
The miniature light bulb lighting state is sequentially switched through an off state (extinguished state).

Further, since the current used in the dimming state is a very small current, it is not possible to obtain a current to maintain the ON state of the changeover switch (SS switch triac), and it is necessary to separately prepare a holding current compensation circuit.

Terminals Sl, S2. S3 becomes energized and the lamp 1 lights up in a dimmed state. At this time, power is supplied to the indicator lamp 7 at the same time, and the indicator lamp 7 lights up. Subsequently, when the wall switch 5 is turned off and then turned on again within a predetermined short time, the terminals Sl and S3 are energized and the dimming terminal S2 is cut off. Therefore, the lamp 1 is lit in full light. At this time, the power supply to the indicator light 7 is cut off, so the indicator light 7 is turned off. Next, when the wall switch 5 is turned off again and turned back on within a predetermined short time, the terminal S4 is energized and the miniature light bulb 6 lights up. At this time, terminals St, S2. S
3 is cut off, and the lamp 1 and the indicator lamp 7 are kept in the off state. If the wall switch 5 is further turned off and on, the above operation is repeated again.

Note that if the off time of the wall switch 5 is long, the switching action is performed from the initial dimming state.

Since the indicator light is connected in parallel to the circuit, even if the indicator light goes out, the switching operation from dimming to full light can be performed without any problem. Further, since a current greater than the dimming holding current of the changeover switch can be passed through the indicator light, the holding current can be secured without using any other holding current supply means. Further, if the inverter is configured to change the switching order from dimming to full light, the above-mentioned switching action can be achieved by directly combining the inverter with the inverter without changing the switching order of the changeover switch.
