を熟知していなければ使用することは不可能なた
めである。また装置も大型でその設置場所に制約
を受けしかも高価であり、たとえば各部屋毎に設
置することなどは不可能である。

抗が生じているので、この屈曲摺動抵抗と、条索
1と挿通孔周壁部との間に生じる摩擦抵抗との総

したまゝで脱出者が無抵抗でもつて急速度に降下
することが防げられる。次にこの状態から降下具
を行うのであるが、握り4,5の握り力をやゝ緩
める。これによつて可動摩擦体3が条索1に引か
れて摩擦体2の横杆遊端部側(図中左方向)に
やゝ変位し、その結果、挿通孔2c′,3c′,3
c,2c間での条索1の屈曲度合がやゝ緩くなり
従つて屈曲摺動抵抗がやゝ弱まり、脱出者の体重
が屈曲摺特抵抗と前記摩擦抵抗の総和に勝つて降
下具は条索1に沿つて降下を開始し、第5図ロの
ように更に握り力を緩めると屈曲摺動抵抗は更に
減少するので早い速度で降下することが出来るの
である。

合を調節できるようにすることもできる。又摩擦
体2の横杆2b,2b′からは夫々対向する可動摩
擦体3の横杆3b,3b′に向つて該横杆3b,3
b′を嵌合して案内できるほゞU字形のガイド部材
14,14′を連設しておけば、可動摩擦体の横
方向の変位を一層スムースに行える。更に第8図
に示すように用いられる条索1の径に応じて対向
する横杆同士の間隔l2,l2を適正に調節できるよ
うに摩擦体2の縦杆2aの少なくとも上下一端側
に調節機構15を設けても良い。具体的には縦杆
2aと横杆2bとを別体に構成すると共に縦杆遊
端には適宜長さのネジ部16を形成し、又横杆基
端部にはこのネジに嵌合する透孔17を設け、且
つネジ部16に螺合させた上下一対の蝶ナツト1
8,18′で横杆基端を所望の位置にて上下から
挟持して固定するようにしてある。この場合図示
しないが前記ガイド部材14,14′のU字形嵌
合溝14a,14a′は上下方向にやゝ長目に形成
しておく必要があることはいうまでもない。又本
考案降下具は緊急脱出用に限らず、山の岩場等を
降下する場合や空中に浮遊停止しているヘリコプ
ターから降下する場合等種々の場において使用で
きる上に、二組の降下具を左右両手に一つづつ握
り、左右の握り力を交互に締緩させ尺取り虫状に
降下スライドさせつつ降下するように用いること
もできるものである。

常に低廉である。又ホテルやビルの各室に一つづ
つ設備することも容易である上に設置場所も多く
を要せず、たとえば第9図のようにくずかごCを
内外二重で互いに挿抜自在にしその外箱C1を利
用して収容設置しておくこともでき、又保守点検
の手間など全く必要としない。又、降下時の取扱
い操作が容易で機械的知識のないものであつても
容易に操作でき安全に降下できるもので、その実
用上の利用価値は多大である。
