BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, one method of decorating structures such as ceilings, walls, furniture, and furnishings has been to apply various paints to the surfaces. By applying paint, it is possible to provide functional effects such as rust prevention, waterproofing, dew condensation prevention, crack prevention, and mold prevention to the decorated surface, but in terms of decoration, it is not just about color, gloss, etc. There was no choice but to limit it to a uniform product that could change the shape of the painted surface.

On the other hand, in another field, a technology has been put into practical use in which transfer paper is created by gravure printing using ink containing sublimable dyes, and designs are transferred to polyester or acrylic fibers to create patterns on fabrics. However, the range of application was not wide, as the material to be transferred was limited to specific materials.

In the present invention, the "base material layer" refers to materials such as cellulose paper, synthetic paper, natural fiber cloth, synthetic fiber cloth, calcium silicate board, flexible board, resin board, iron board, plywood, cement board, sheathing, etc. It is a building material such as a board. The cellulose paper may be either Japanese paper or Western paper, or may be of a type that has been water-resistant treated with synthetic resin or the like. Any synthetic paper can be used as long as it is made of polystyrene, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, etc. and has been processed to give it paper-like properties. Examples of the natural fiber cloth include cotton cloth, linen cloth, and silk cloth. Examples of the synthetic fiber cloth include rayon cloth, acrylic cloth, polyester cloth, nylon cloth, vinylon cloth, and a blended cloth in which two or more of the above-mentioned natural fibers or synthetic fiber materials are combined. In addition, nonwoven fabrics processed without the above-mentioned weaving or weaving process can also be used as the base material for the decorative pattern board in the present invention. In addition, the above-mentioned calcium silicate plate, flexible plate,
Architectural materials such as resin boards, iron boards, plywood, cement boards, and sheathing boards are effective as base materials, but each of these base materials can be used as the base material of the present invention, either alone or in combination as a composite board. Can be done. particle board, fiber board,
Materials called WPC, wood cement board, etc. are also effective as the base material of the present invention.

The "ink retaining layer" in the present invention is formed by applying a water-based paint to a desired thickness on the surface of the base material by spraying, roller, brushing, or other methods. Water-based paints are those that use water as a solvent or dispersion medium, and the main elements for forming the paint film are water-soluble polymers, synthetic resin emulsions, or inorganic polymers such as colloidal silica. , extender pigments such as talc and silica powder, methyl cellulose,
A thickener such as sodium polyacrylate, an antifoaming agent, a preservative, a surfactant, a coloring pigment, etc. are added and mixed. The water-based paints generally include flat paints, stipple paints, spray paints, mastic paints, elastic paints, glossy paints, concrete paints,
These are anti-condensation paints, and patterns are formed on the surface of each paint in a subsequent process using inks that have an affinity for each paint.

In the present invention, the "design layer" refers to, for example, the surface of the ink retaining layer made of the various paints mentioned above.
It is formed by overlapping the patterned surfaces of separately prepared transfer bodies and applying heat and pressure to the required temperature and pressure for a certain period of time to transfer and solidify the pattern of the transfer body onto the surface of the ink retaining layer.

The transfer material used here is a water-based or organic solvent-based ink that contains sublimable dye and is adjusted to 20 to 25 seconds with a Zahn Cup #3.
A desired pattern is applied to a base paper coated with a thickening agent such as starch by gravure printing or flexographic printing.

Furthermore, as a means of forming patterns on the surface of the ink-retaining layer made of various paints, the method of using transfer as described above is based on the assumption that the surface of the ink-retaining layer is in the state of forming a paint film. Even if the paper has irregularities, designs, etc. can be transferred through a unique transfer process in which the dye vapor sublimated from the ink printed on the transfer base paper physically moves and adsorbs into the pores on the coating surface. Therefore, it is an effective method,
A clear pattern appears on the surface of the paint film.

Example A polystyrene synthetic paper is used as the base layer.
As the ink retaining layer, Ketsuronine (trade name), which is an anti-condensation paint manufactured by Kikusui Chemical Co., Ltd., is used. The transfer material is printed on transfer base paper by gravure printing using ink containing a sublimable dye and adjusted to a viscosity of 20 seconds (#3 Zahn Cup). As the ink, an organic solvent type transfer ink (Tranflex OL-7) manufactured by Dainichiseika Chemical is used. On the surface of the base polystyrene synthetic paper, Ketsuronine was applied to a thickness of 1 mm using a spray gun, and then dried.

The synthetic resin emulsion used here has an average particle diameter of 0.2μ. Average particle size is 0.1μ
If it is below, the emulsion will enter the pores of the porous diatomaceous earth and reduce the surface area, resulting in a decrease in water absorption capacity and, therefore, a decrease in the dew condensation prevention function. become. If the average particle size is 0.5μ or more, the number of emulsion particles decreases, making it difficult to mix uniformly with powdered diatomaceous earth particles, resulting in cracking after drying of the coating film. Therefore, keeping the average particle size of the emulsion within the range of 0.1 to 0.5μ is a necessary element to maintain its water absorption ability, and plays an important role in achieving its dew condensation prevention function. It's on.

The surface of the pattern layer of the transfer body was placed on the dried and hardened ink retaining layer made of Ketsuronine, and the layer was heated at 200°C and under a pressure of 0.7kg/cm.
Heat and pressurize for 60 seconds. Then remove the transfer body,
A decorative pattern board was obtained in which the pattern of the transfer body was clearly transferred and solidified on the surface of the ink retaining layer to form a pattern layer.
When this decorative pattern board was installed on the ceiling of the bathroom,
In addition to exhibiting a unique decorative effect due to the transferred pattern, the functionality of Ketsuronine was also fully demonstrated, with no condensation or water droplets adhering to the surface, and no droplets falling.

As described above, whereas conventionally the decoration of structures was uniform, the present invention further improves the decorative effect and the ink retaining layer made of water-based paint is functional. It can be provided as a new decorative pattern board that has a wide range of uses and has a high added value of being effective.
