問題点が生じる。Generally, after a photograph is taken, so-called simultaneous printing is performed in which the photographic film is developed and printed at the same time. When a customer orders additional prints, they look at the negative film to find the frame number corresponding to the desired print, and place an order using that frame number. When specifying this frame number, if similar images are stored in succession on a negative film, it is difficult to find the desired surface image, leading to the problem of making a mistake in ordering.

932 and 56-128933).

Furthermore, by printing the corrected exposure amount during the printing process at the same time as the frame number, it is possible to match the finished image when reprinting and the finished image when simultaneously printed. Hereinafter, such frame number and corrected exposure amount will be referred to as frame information.

Furthermore, if the printing device is of a type that does not apply pressure to the photographic paper, such as an inkjet method or a thermal transfer method, the above problem can be solved, but there is a limit to the printing speed. Also, maintainability is poor.
There are many consumables such as ink ribbons and ink, which increases costs.

That is, after development, the image on the surface of the photographic paper does not change, and even if the dot impact type printing device described above is applied, the problem of latent image destruction can be solved.

Furthermore, due to synchronization errors, snagging of the negative film, etc., the negative film and paper tape may be returned once and the same image is printed again.

Even if you try to print frame information on the back side of the photographic paper for the frames stored on the paper tape by applying the paper tape as is, it will not match the actual image (1).

It is possible to reliably match an image with the frame information corresponding to this image. The portions other than the image include the portions that are cut off when the photographic paper is cut into images, and the edges of the images if they have edges.

If the printing process fails for some reason and you want to continue printing the same negative image, transport only the photographic paper by a predetermined amount (for one frame) and perform the printing process again. However, the cutting portions 16A are sequentially drilled in such a case as well. Also, using a control negative,
Even when the printing process is performed regardless of the information stored on the paper tape 70, the cutting portion 16A is perforated in correspondence with the storage (a number or symbol indicating that it is a control negative). Note that such failed image frames and control negative image frames are punched with frame information as well as punch holes indicating that printing is not required.

The frame information is read from the punched hole 74 read in step 6, and then the process moves to step 218, where it is determined whether the image requires printing. This is determined by reading punched holes that do not require printing, since there is no need for printing on failed image frames or control negatives that have been printed.

Here, in the case of a negative determination, the process moves to step 206, and in the case of an affirmative determination, this print control ends.

Although the punch hole 14 is punched at 6A, a bar code may be attached and read optically. Further, if the photographic paper 16 is a photographic paper with edges, the above-mentioned barcode or the like may be imprinted on the edge portion of the surface of the photographic paper. This type of memorization is done in symbols and does not require a large amount of space.
It can be done easily. Then, at the time of verification, this symbol can be read again and printed in a relatively large space on the back side of the photographic paper in characters readable by the customer without having to consider preventing latent image destruction.
