Claims (1)
- エンジンの排気マニホルドに、一端開口部をそ
れぞれ接続される複数本のブランチ管の他端開口
部の下流側に配置されるとともに、内部に収容さ
れる触媒担体をほぼ垂直方向に配置してなる触媒
コンバータにおいて、前記触媒担体を、下面に排
気ガス流入口を有し、上面に排気ガス流出口を有
する筒状の内側容器内に収容するとともに、この
内側容器を、底面を有する外側容器内に、容器内
に、外容器の底面と前記内側容器の排気ガス流入
口との間に間隙が形成されるように収容し、前記
外側容器の上端と前記内側容器との間を、環状の
蓋部材により密閉し、この蓋部材に前記ブランチ
管の他端開口部をそれぞれ開口してなることを特
徴とする触媒コンバータ。
