Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 被軸封機器の回転部材と同時回転する回転密封
    環を設けた回転側シール要素と、被軸封機器のケ
    ーシング側に固定される静止密封環を設けた固定
    側シール要素を有し、回転密封環と静止密封環の
    密封端面を摺接させて軸封部を形成するメカニカ
    ルシールにおいて、前記回転側シール要素が同時
    回転可能かつ液密に外嵌される薄肉スリーブを設
    け、この薄肉スリーブが挾着機構により軸方向に
    挾着されて前記回転部材に同時回転および着脱可
    能に隙間を存して遊嵌されるとともに、該薄肉ス
    リーブの一部と前記回転部材の一部とで密封部材
    封入空間を形成し、この密封部材封入空間に前記
    隙間への流体浸入封止用密封部材が封入されてい
    ることを特徴とするカセツト式メカニカルシール
    。
