<Background of the invention> Figure 1 shows the structure of a conventional shoji that can be folded inward and pulled out on one side. In the figure, reference numeral 101 indicates a window frame, and reference numeral 102 indicates a shoji that is built into the window frame and can be folded inward and pulled out on one side. In this example, window frame 10
A case is shown in which the left half of the glass 103 is fitted with a glass 103. The shoji 102 has a lever 1 extended from the upper frame.
04 limits the angle of inclination. lever 10
4 has a foldable structure, and by pulling the upper end of the shoji 102 toward the indoor side, it can be folded toward the indoor side as shown in the figure, allowing ventilation without being affected by the wind. Moreover, the shoji 102 is built into the window frame 101 by pressing it toward the outside. The lever 104 is supported by a stator that is slidable with respect to the upper frame. Therefore, the shoji 102 can be moved as a sliding door either in the illustrated state facing inward or in the state built into the window frame 101.

<Summary of the invention> This invention is based on a continuous first airtight strip on the same surface of the four inner circumferences of the outdoor side of a shoji that has an upper stile, a vertical stile, a lower stile, and a stacked stile and has an inward folding and one-side sliding function. Attach the second airtight material to the upper stile, vertical stile, and lower stile on the indoor side of the first airtight material and around the outer circumference of the first airtight material, and then install the second airtight material on the same surface as the first airtight material of the stacked stile. 3. Attach the second airtight material and the third airtight material with an airtight block, and connect these first, second, and third airtight materials.
The third airtight material, the airtight block, and the window frame form an equal pressure space around the shoji that generates a pressure equal to the outside air pressure, and this equal pressure space improves watertight performance.

205 indicates a stator housed within the upper frame 201. The stator 205 is constituted by a block 206 made of, for example, a resin material with slipping properties, and is held so that the block 206 can move inside the groove of the upper frame 201. This stator 2
One end of the arm 104 explained in FIG. 1 is attached to 05. The other end of the arm 104 is attached to the upper stile of the shoji 102. FIG. 2 shows the state in which the arm 104 is folded and the shoji 102 is installed in the window frame 101.

In this invention, one strip of airtight material 207 is installed on the same surface on the inner four peripheries of the outdoor side of each stile of the shoji, and the airtight material 207 is placed closer to the indoor side than the airtight material 207 on the upper stile, vertical stile, and lower stile of the shoji. Airtight material 20 on the outer periphery of 207
Install 8. Airtight material 20 is attached to the upper frame 201.
7, 208 are pressed against the protrusions 211 and 212 formed on the upper frame 201, and a space A is formed by the upper frame 201 and the upper stile of the shoji 102. Further, protrusions 213 and 214 are also provided on the lower frame 202, and airtight materials 207 and 208 are brought into pressure contact with these protrusions 213 and 214. Through this pressure contact, the lower frame 202 and the shoji 102
A space B is formed by the lower stile. This space B is communicated with the outside air through drain holes 215 and 216.

Furthermore, two strips of airtight material 207 and 208 are attached to the vertical stile 301 (Fig. 3) of the shoji 102, and the airtight material 207 is attached to the stacked stile 307 (Fig. 3), and the airtight material is attached to the outer periphery on the same surface. Install 306. The airtight members 207 and 208 attached to the vertical stile 301 are continuous with the two airtight members 207 and 208 attached to the upper and lower stile shown in FIG. 2, and are formed on the vertical frame 302 of the window frame 101. The flat parts 303 and 304 are pressed against each other. This forms a space C.

Furthermore, in the mullion 305, since the airtight material 208 and the airtight material 306 are not on the same plane, the airtight material 208 and the airtight material 306 are connected by the airtight block. Therefore, a space D is formed by the airtight material 207 and the airtight material 306.

<Operation and effect of the invention> In this way, spaces A, B,
Drain holes 215 and 2 are formed in the lower frame 202 to make these spaces A to D communicate with each other.
By communicating these spaces A to D with the outside air through 16, when wind pressure is applied, each space A
The pressure within ~D also rises to a pressure equal to the wind pressure. Therefore, even if there is some gap between the outer airtight material 207 and the window frame 101, rainwater will not be blown into the spaces A to D. As a result, watertight performance is improved. Furthermore, since the shoji 102 is tilted inward due to wind pressure, rainwater will not leak into the room even if the shoji 102 moves slightly toward the indoor side. Furthermore, since the airtight materials 207 and 208 are provided in duplicate, not only watertight performance but also sound shielding performance and airtightness performance are improved.

As described above, according to this invention, by forming equal-pressure spaces A to D around the four circumferences of the shoji that can be folded inward, the watertightness of the shoji that can be folded inward can be significantly improved, and the effect is It is extremely large for practical use.
