点があつた。<Conventional technology> Conventionally, in order to separate cast products and runners, there has been a method of using vibrations from a shake-out machine, etc. in the process of breaking the mold after solidification of the molten metal, or a method of separating the cast products and runners. Commonly used methods include separating the cast product by hitting it with a hammer or the like, or pressing it with a press machine using a jig. However, in the method of separating by vibration during the demolding process, separation may not be possible depending on the degree of coagulation and the size of the separation part. In addition, in the separating method of hitting with a hammer, the impact force differs depending on the person because the work is done manually, and the force is not sufficient, so many hits must be made, which is hard labor that requires a relatively long time. It had drawbacks such as bad sex.

It is necessary to fix each cast product using a jig or the like, and the setting work at this time relies on manual labor, which results in poor work efficiency and the risk of separated products flying off during separation, which also reduces productivity and safety. There were problems with sexuality etc. In particular, cast iron with high toughness such as spheroidal graphite cast iron,
It is difficult to separate not only with a hammer but also with a press machine.
Separated products also had the disadvantage of being more likely to fly.

In this way, the molten metal is separated by the separating tool, and the cast products can be easily separated.

Figures 1 and 2 show the case of sand mold A, in which cavities for a sprue 2, a runner 3, a riser 4, a weir 5, and a product a are placed in a mold 1 consisting of an upper frame 1a and a lower frame 1b. A mold cavity 6 is formed. In this mold cavity 6, a metal separation tool 7 is placed at a position where the metal is to be separated after pouring, for example, on the cavity surface of the runner 3, orthogonal thereto.

定する。 Next, a separation tool related to a metal mold as another embodiment will be described. FIG. 10 is a vertical cross-sectional view showing the state in which the separation tool 21 is placed in the metal mold B;
The figure is a perspective view showing the separation tool 21 used here. In Figure 10, the metal mold B is divided into two parts: one (left side in the figure) is a fixed side mold B1 , and the other side (on the right side in the figure) is a movable side mold B2 . Inside mold B, riser cavity 22 and runner cavity 2
3. Forming the product cavity 24. Then, an insertion hole 25 is provided that opens to the outside of the mold in a right angle direction (left and right in the figure) from the cavity part to be separated, for example, the runner cavity 23, and in the hole 25, a separating tool 21A on the pressing side shown in FIG. Pressure side separation tool 2
1B is installed. A trapezoidal notch 26 having the same cross section as the runner cavity 23 is provided at the tip of the separating part 21a of the separating tool 21 on the dividing surface side. I made sure it wasn't blocked. A handle 21b is provided on the back side of the separation part 21a, and the handle 2
The first pressing tool 27 inserted into 1b from the outside of the mold B
Concatenate. A first spring 28 is interposed between the operating rod 27a of the pressing tool 27 and the outer wall of the mold (movable side) B2 . A convex portion 21C is provided at the corner of the back side (left side in the figure) of the separation tool 21B, and a convex portion 21C is provided on the side of the convex portion 21C.
The second pressing tool 29 inserted from the outside is connected, and the second spring 3 is connected to the passive rod 29a of the second pressing tool 29.
Interpose 0. One end (right side in the figure) of the second spring 30 is brought into contact with the end of the separation tool 21B, and the other end (right side in the figure) is brought into contact with the lid 31. Note that the second spring 30 is set to be slightly stronger than the first spring 28.

When molten metal is poured into the cavity 24 and the molten metal is solidifying, when the first pressing tool 27 is pushed to the left in the figure, the separating tool 21B is pushed by the separating tool 21A and the second pressing tool 27 is pushed to the left in the figure.
Spring 30 is shortened. Second spring 30
When is shortened, the second pressing tool 29 moves, thereby causing the separating tool 21A to enter the separating tool 21B side. By this movement of the separating tool 21A, the molten metal is separated by the separating section 21a of the separating tool 21A. When the pressing force on the first pressing tool 27 is released, the elastic force of the first spring 28 and the second spring 30 causes both the first pressing tool 27 and the second pressing tool 29 to move to the right in the figure and return to their original positions. Revenge.

Since the molten metal is placed in advance, the casting can be separated very easily by inserting the separation tool into the mold cavity when the molten metal solidifies, and this has great effects on workability, environment, and safety. It contributes to the development of industry.
