(Prior Art) As a separator of this kind, the present applicant and others previously filed Utility Application No. 179938/1983 (Kokai No. 85683/1983),
Separating pieces are provided radially protruding from the outer periphery of the core material in the axial direction, and a wrapping piece that is bent in the circumferential direction is provided at the tip of each separating piece, so that the wrapping piece wraps the stranded wire conductor, We proposed a method in which positive and negative twisted wire conductors are alternately arranged between each separation piece. Stranded wire conductors of welding cables may come loose during use, and if the loose conductors enter between the adjacent separating pieces through the gap between the separation piece and the jacket and come into contact with stranded wires of different polarities, accidents can occur. However, by providing a wrapping piece at the tip of each separation piece, the stranded wire conductor is prevented from entering the above-mentioned neighbor, and an accident of shooting can be prevented.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, providing a wrapping piece bent in the circumferential direction at the tip of each separating piece means that the outer surface of each wrapping piece is in close contact with the inner surface of the mantle, so that the stranded wire conductor The problem has been that the flow of cooling water into the spaces between the separate pieces in which the cable is disposed is obstructed, resulting in insufficient cooling of the stranded wire conductors and premature damage to the cable.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention has been made to solve such problems, and has a plurality of separation pieces protruding radially from the outer periphery of the core body in the axial direction. In a welding cable separator in which a plurality of stranded wire conductors are arranged between each piece, separated into positive and negative polarities, the stranded wire conductors are arranged between each separation piece such that the stranded wire conductors are adjacent to each other with the same polarity, The present invention is characterized in that only one pair of separation pieces in the diametrical direction interposed between the positive and negative twisted wires is provided with a wrapping piece that is bent in the circumferential direction at the tip of the separation piece.

(Example) The present invention will be described below based on the drawings. Reference numeral 1 indicates a mantle, 2 indicates a separator, and the separator 2 is formed by providing separation pieces 4 radially protruding from the outer periphery of a core body 3 in the axial direction. There are three positive side 7 between each separation piece 4, 4.
The stranded conductors 7 on the negative side 7a are arranged adjacent to each other, and the three stranded conductors 7 on the negative side 7b are arranged adjacent to each other. And the positive side 7a
Only the pair of diametrical separation pieces 4a, 4a interposed between the stranded conductor 7 on the negative side 7b and the stranded conductor 7 on the negative side 7b has wrapping pieces 5, 5 bent in the circumferential direction at their tips.
The other separation pieces 4, 4, . . . have bulges 6, 6, . The three positive side 7a stranded conductors 7 are connected to one terminal, and the three negative side 7a stranded conductors 7 are connected to one terminal.
is also connected to another terminal.

(Effect of the invention) According to the invention as described above, each stranded wire conductor 7 is connected to each separating piece 4, so that the same polarity is adjacent to each other.
4, and only a pair of diametrical separation pieces 4a, 4a interposed between the positive and negative stranded wire conductors 7 are provided with enclosing pieces 5, 5 bent in the circumferential direction at their tips. Therefore, both halves of the mantle 1 divided by the holding pieces 5, 5 allow good circulation of cooling water to cool the space between the separating pieces 4, 4, . . . in each half. Stranded wire conductor 7 because it does not obstruct the flow of water
The cooling effect can be enhanced, and even if the stranded wire conductor 7 comes apart, the wrapping piece 5 has the effect of preventing contact between different electrodes, that is, shorting.
