(Prior Art) When embanking is performed under natural topographical conditions, shear failure may occur in the embankment due to various factors such as slope slope, slope height, and properties of embankment materials. This is the collapse of the embankment. Therefore, depending on usage requirements, it is necessary to reinforce the embankment.

Conventionally, as a reinforcement measure for embankments, synthetic resin nets 1 are buried in layers in the soil as shown in Fig. 4, and the lack of shear resistance of the embankment itself is compensated for by the shear resistance of the nets 1. Attempts have been made to drain water from the soil using a large number of pipes 2 installed into the slope S. According to this, the drainage of the embankment is improved, and the intertwining of the soil and the net 1 prevents the ground from sliding, thereby preventing the embankment from collapsing. However, it was troublesome that the net 1 and pipe 2 had to be constructed separately.

As another reinforcement measure, as shown in FIG. 5, attempts have been made to bury water-absorbing sheets 3 in the soil in layers to absorb excess moisture in the embankment. According to this, loosening of the ground due to excess moisture can be prevented to some extent, and there is no need for the above-mentioned troublesome construction. However, although the sheet 3 allows sufficient drainage of the embankment, it has the disadvantage that the soil above and below the sheet 3 becomes untangled, causing a layered landslide.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the above problems, the gist of the present invention is that the embankment reinforcing net is constructed from a thread material made of open cells.

(Function) According to the above means, by simply burying the embankment reinforcing net in the soil, the same effect of preventing the ground from slipping as in net 1 in Figure 4 can be achieved, and the end of the thread material Simply exposing the soil to the slope of the embankment will ensure sufficient drainage. Therefore, the collapse of the embankment can be reliably prevented through simple construction.

The water absorbency and absorbed water are transferred to the warp thread 61 or the weft thread 62.
It has the property of draining water from the end (drainage property).

The above net 5 can be easily produced by extrusion molding an open cell material such as high pressure polyethylene, medium and low pressure polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), etc. Due to the characteristics of the manufacturing method, these products have various advantages such as not only do not easily collapse, but also have excellent dimensional stability, are strong, lightweight, and easy to handle, and can be used semi-permanently due to their corrosion and chemical resistance. I have it too. Among the above, those made of high-pressure polyethylene and medium-low pressure polyethylene can withstand temperatures down to -60°C, so they can be used well in cold regions, while those made of polypropylene have zero
Suitable for use in warm regions as it can withstand temperatures up to 130℃. Also, if a soft net is desired due to the nature of the embankment, one made of high-pressure polyethylene or EVA should be used; conversely, if a hard net is desired, one made of medium-low pressure polyethylene or polypropylene should be used. . The illustrated net 5 has a rectangular lattice-like mesh, so it is particularly strong and dimensionally stable.

The net 5 is buried in the soil of an embankment as shown in FIG. 3, and the ends of its warp threads 61 or weft threads 62 (warp threads 61 in the illustrated example) are exposed above the slope surface S. Burial will be done in layers. By doing this, water in the soil is absorbed by the warp threads 61 or weft threads 62 of the net 5, and the absorbed water is drained onto the slope S, so that the embankment is sufficiently drained. In addition, the net 5 is tightly intertwined with the soil filling the mesh to reliably prevent the ground from sliding.

By the way, the above-mentioned quality of drainage, degree of entanglement with soil, and strength of the net are related to the thickness of the warp and weft threads of the net, the foaming density of open cells, the cell diameter, the size of the mesh, etc. Generally, on soft ground, setting the diameter of the thread material to 4.8 mm, the pitch of the thread material to 34 mm, the foaming ratio to about 1.5 times, and the bubble diameter to about 0.1 mm will improve drainage, the degree of entanglement with the soil, and the strength of the net. It will not cause any inconvenience in actual use. That is, if the diameter or pitch of the thread material is too small, it tends to cause insufficient entanglement with the soil or lack of strength, while if it is too large, the material cost will be high and there will be problems in handling. Also,
If the foaming ratio is too small, sufficient water absorption and drainage properties will not be ensured, and if it is too large, strength will be insufficient. Furthermore, if the cell diameter is too small, water absorption may be ensured but drainage performance will be lacking, and if it is too large, drainage performance may be improved but water absorption will not be sufficient.

(Effects of the Invention) As is clear from the above, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide an embankment reinforcing net that can reliably prevent the collapse of an embankment through simple construction.
