Claims (1)
軸に直角の摺動面を有する回転環、前記摺動面に
向き合う摺動面を有するシールリング、同シール
リングに低圧室側から嵌装され同シールリングと
の間に流体が封入された中間室を形成し回転軸か
らの距離が中間室より近い側か遠い側かのいずれ
かで同シールリングと結合され同シールリングと
一体となつて軸方向に移動可能なシールリングリ
テナー、同シールリングリテナーを高圧室の方向
へ押すスプリング、同シールリングリテナーに設
けられ電気的駆動装置により中間室内に出退する
ピストン、同駆動装置に電流を供給する電源、シ
ールリングの温度を計測する温度計、前記摺動面
のすきまから漏れる流体の漏洩量を計測する流量
計、および前記シールリングの温度と前記漏洩量
とに応じて前記電源から前記ピストンの駆動装置
に供給される電流値を制御する制御装置を備えた
ことを特徴とするメカニカルシール。 A rotating ring provided on the rotating shaft and having a sliding surface perpendicular to the rotating shaft on the side opposite to the high pressure chamber, a seal ring having a sliding surface facing the sliding surface, and a seal ring that is fitted into the seal ring from the low pressure chamber side.
