Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 環状の磁石の端面に環状のポールピースを同軸
的に固着して形成したシール部材と、前記環状の
ポールピースの周面との間にシールギヤツプを設
けて前記シール部材と同軸的に相対回転する磁性
部材と、前記シールギヤツプに磁石の磁力で保持
した磁性流体とよりなるシール装置において、前
記磁性部材のポールピース周面と対向する部位に
、前記周面の幅Ｃより同周面の両端側へそれぞれ
幅Ａと幅Ｂだけ幅広い環状の溝を設け、かつ、前
記幅Ａと幅Ｂを、 ０≦Ａ≦２Ｃ ０≦Ｂ≦２Ｃ としたことを特徴とする磁性流体シール装置。
