The bay window upper body 1 is divided vertically into a bay window upper body 1 provided with the equipment 2, and the bay window lower body 3 is provided with the equipment 2, so that the bay window upper body 1 can be used in common regardless of the type of equipment 2. is being considered. However, if the bay window A is divided into two parts, the bay window upper body 1 and the bay window lower body 3, the equipment 2
The weight of the bay window lower body 3 has to be supported only by the bay window lower body 3, and the bay window lower body 3 that protrudes to the outside may tilt downward, creating a gap between the bay window lower body 3 and the bay window upper body 1, or the bay window lower body 3 may tilt downward. 3 and the bay window upper body 1 become less waterproof, resulting in a problem that rainwater easily enters.

A locking protrusion 6 is provided at the lower end of the bay window upper body 1 and extends substantially horizontally toward the indoor side over the entire length, and the upper end of the bay window lower body 3 A locking groove 7 that opens substantially horizontally toward the outdoors is provided on the outdoor surface of the locking groove 7, and a locking protrusion 6 is inserted into the locking groove 7 to connect the upper surface of the locking protrusion 6 with the locking groove 7. Packing 8 between the upper inner surface of
The upper surface of the locking protrusion 6 is locked to the upper inner surface of the locking groove 7 with the upper surface of the bay window upper body 1 and the lower bay window body 3 connected vertically. By locking the locking protrusion 6 into the locking groove 7, the weight of the equipment 2 in the bay window lower body 3 is also supported by the bay window upper body 1, so that the bay window lower body 3 is tilted. In addition, the seal 8 prevents rainwater from entering between the bay window upper body 1 and the bay window lower body 3, thereby achieving the above object. The invention will be explained in detail with examples.

The window 10, which has a window glass 14 in the window frame 13, is installed between the sash frames 11, and on the roof side edge of the sash lower frame 15 extending over the entire length of the lower end of the sash frame 11, there is a wall extending substantially horizontally toward the indoor side. A locking protrusion 6 that protrudes is integrally provided over the entire length.
In FIG. 1, 16 is an elastic packing provided on the sash lower frame 15, and 17 is a glazing channel provided on the window frame 13.

As shown in FIG. 3, the equipment 2 is formed by, for example, a cabinet 23 having a counter 21 on the top and a door 22 on the front that can be opened and closed. be done. In this way, the equipment 2 can be formed as a storage cabinet, but by providing a washstand instead of the counter 21, the equipment 2 can be configured as a washstand, and the counter 21 can be replaced with a kitchen cabinet. By providing a sink, equipment 2
This means that it can be configured as a kitchen device. Further, an upper frame 24 made of aluminum or the like is attached to the upper end of the wall plate 20 over its entire length, and a bent piece 26 of the exterior plate 19 is inserted into an insertion groove 25 provided in the upper frame 24. A locking groove 7 that opens substantially horizontally toward the outdoor side is formed over the entire length of the upper frame 24, which is suspended on the outdoor side.

The sash frame 11 of the upper body 1 of the bay window
The outer wall upper body 1 and the outer wall lower body 3 are fixed to the outer wall by fixing the flange piece 28 extending to the outer wall and fixing the flange piece 29 extending to the exterior plate 19 of the wall 20 of the bay window lower body 3. 4 so as to protrude toward the outdoors, and a bay window A is constructed as shown in Fig. 4. At this time, when connecting the bay window upper body 1 and the bay window lower body 3, as shown in FIG. This is done by locking the upper surface of the locking protrusion 6 with the upper inner surface of the locking groove 7 while inserting the locking protrusion. This locking connects the bay window upper body 1 and the bay window lower body 3, and the weight of the bay window lower body 3, including the weight of the equipment 1, is reduced by this locking. The bay window lower body 3 is attached to the bay window upper body 1 by the flange piece 29.

This ensures waterproofness between the bay window upper body 1 and the bay window lower body 3. At this time, due to the load of the bay window lower body 2, the gasket 8
is compressed between the locking protrusion 6 and the upper inner surface of the locking groove 7, thereby ensuring waterproofing between the bay window upper body 1 and the bay window lower body 3.

Since the bay window is installed so that it protrudes toward the outdoors, even if the bay window is divided vertically into an upper bay window body and a bay window lower body, and various equipment and equipment are installed in the bay window lower body, the bay window upper body can be used as a common item, and in addition, a locking protrusion is provided at the lower end of the upper part of the bay window that projects almost horizontally toward the indoor side over the entire length, and a locking piece is provided along the upper end of the lower part of the bay window. A locking groove that opens substantially horizontally toward the outdoors is provided on the outdoor side surface, a locking protrusion is inserted into the locking groove, and the upper surface of the locking protrusion is locked on the upper inner surface of the locking groove. Since the upper body of the bay window and the lower body of the bay window are connected vertically, the weight of the lower body of the bay window, including the weight of equipment, is applied to the upper body of the bay window by this locking, and the lower body of the bay window is It is also supported by the bay window upper body, which prevents the bay window lower body from tilting due to the weight of equipment and creating a gap between the bay window upper body and the bay window lower body. Since a gasket is interposed between the top surface of the locking protrusion and the upper inner surface of the locking groove, the gasket is interposed between the top surface of the locking protrusion and the upper inner surface of the locking groove due to the load of the lower body of the bay window. It will be compressed between
It is possible to reliably perform waterproofing between the bay window upper body and the bay window lower body.
