Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 〈産業上の利用分野〉 本考案は浴槽の給湯に使用される自動給湯装置
に関する。 〈従来技術とその問題点〉 従来の浴槽用自動給湯装置にあつては、自動給
湯器で加熱された給湯は、上記自動給湯器の頂部
にその一端を接続された自動給湯管の他端から、
その直下に垂直に設置されたホツパー内に落とし
込まれた上、浴槽下部に装着された給入、排出用
の循環金具を介して浴槽内に送給されるのみであ
るので、浴槽内にたまつた湯が少量の間は急速に
落とし込まれるが、その湯が増加するに伴つてヘ
ツド差が減少するために、上記ホツパー内に落と
し込まれる湯水が完全に浴槽内に入りきる前に、
ホツパーの上部から溢れ出る不具合が度々発生し
ている。 そこで本考案は上記従来技術の欠点を解消し、
自動給湯器からの給湯をホツパーから外部へ溢れ
出させることなく、ヘツド差の減少に拘わらず迅
速かつ完全に浴槽内へ送給させることの出来る浴
槽用自動給湯装置の提供を目的とする。 〈問題点を解決するための手段〉 本考案に係る浴槽用自動給湯装置は、循環金具
の外側面にホツパーの下端部が接続されるととも
に、該ホツパーの接続口の近傍に当たる循環金具
の部分に戻り管の一端が接続され、上記ホツパー
から循環金具に落とし込まれる給湯の少なくとも
一部が、上記戻り管に吸込まれて浴槽外に配置さ
れる循環ポンプに戻され、該戻り湯が往き管を経
て上記循環金具の浴槽に近い部分に送り込まれて
浴槽内に送給されることを特徴としている。 〈作用〉 自動給湯器からの給湯が、自動給湯器、ホツパ
ーならびに循環金具を介して浴槽内に送給され
て、浴槽内の水位が循環金具の頂部よりも上位に
来てから、本考案に係る浴槽用自動給湯装置に配
管接続された循環ポンプを作動させれば、上記ホ
ツパーから循環金具に落とし込まれる給湯の一部
が、戻り管を経て一旦循環ポンプに吸入され、戻
り湯となつて吐出され、往き管を経て再び循環金
具に送り込まれ、ホツパー内の逆流を発生させる
ことなく、浴槽内へ迅速かつ安全に送給される。 〈実施例〉 以下本考案に係る浴槽用自動給湯装置を、その
実施例にもとづいて詳細に説明する。第1図に上
記浴槽用自動給湯装置を浴槽と設置した態様図を
掲げる。 自動給湯器1は、浴槽A外の適宜な個所に設置
される。上記自動給湯器1の頂部にその一端を接
続される自動給湯管2の他端は、浴室の壁Bの外
側に垂直に取付けられるホツパー3の上端部の直
上に配置される。上記ホツパー3の下端部は、浴
槽Aの下部に装着される給入、排出用の循環金具
4の外側面に接続される。一方図示のように上記
下端部の直上に当たる循環金具4の頂部に戻り管
5の一端が接続され、その他端は上記自動給湯器
1の下部に設置される循環ポンプ6に接続され
る。また上記循環金具4の浴槽Aに近い頂部に往
き管7の一端が接続され、その他端は同じく循環
ポンプ6に接続される。 本浴槽用自動給湯装置は以上詳記のような構成
を有するので、自動給湯器1によつて加熱される
給湯は、自動給湯管2内を通つてその端部からホ
ツパー3内に垂直に落とし込まれ、循環金具4の
外側面から浴槽A内に送給される。上記給湯が浴
槽A内に次第にたまり、その水位が上記循環金具
4の頂部を越えてから、循環ポンプ6を始動させ
ると、上記ホツパー3から循環金具4の外側面内
に落とし込まれる給湯の一部が、ホツパー3の下
端部の直上に当たる循環金具4の頂部に開口され
ている戻り管5内を通過し循環ポンプ6に吸入さ
れる。而して循環ポンプ6から吐出される戻り湯
は、往き管7内を通過して再び循環金具4の浴槽
Aに近い頂部に送り込まれる。ここでホツパー3
の下端部から落とし込まれる多量の給湯を、上記
戻り湯が循環ポンプ6によつて付与される運動の
エネルギーにより誘引し合流して、浴槽A内へ全
量が送給されるので、給湯の一部がホツパー3内
で逆流することなく、浴槽A内への給湯作業が円
滑かつ迅速に実施される。 〈効果〉 本考案に係る浴槽用自動給湯装置は上記の如き
構成を有するので、自動給湯器によつて加熱され
る給湯が、自動給湯管経由ホツパーから循環金具
を介して浴槽内に落とし込まれてたまり、水位の
ヘツド差が次第に減少しても、循環ポンプを作動
させると、上記ホツパーからの落とし込み給湯の
少なくとも一部が、その近くに開口される戻り管
から直接上記ポンプに吸入されるため、ホツパー
の上部から溢れ出される不都合が完全に防止され
る。しかも該ポンプによつて吐出される高速度の
戻り湯が、往き管内を流れて循環金具の頂部から
送り込まれるため、同じ循環金具内にホツパーか
ら落とし込まれる上記給湯の残部を、誘引合流し
て浴槽内へ急速に送入させるので、ますます給湯
作業が迅速かつ円滑に行われ、顕著な効果を発揮
することが出来る。 なお本考案者等が従来装置と本考案装置とにつ
いて、実験によつてその性能を比較した結果を取
りまとめ、次頁の第1表に掲げる。 すなわち給湯量が約30%増加することが、明ら
かである。 本考案は上記実施例に限定されることなくその
要旨を逸脱しない範囲内で、適宜変更し得ること
は云うまでもない。 【表】
