にらせん突状を具えた2本のドラムを平面図で平
行に、側面図でX形に交叉するように配置したバ
レル研摩装置がある。前者は、ドラム内に生ずる
粒状体の底面に沿う上昇流と軸心に沿う下降流と
の間に区画がないために、二つの流れの境目が入
り乱れて粒状体に粒度や比重の差に基づく分離を
生じ、意図した循環流を発生させない場合があ
る。これに対して後者は、2本のドラム内をそれ
ぞれ粒状体が一方方向に移動して循環するので、
一方向の循環流を整然と生じ、精度の均一な加工
を行なうことができるが、2本のドラムを並置す
る関係上、設置床面積を広く占め、かつ、製作費

記内筒と連通する上下の循環口を設け、このドラ
ムに、上記らせん室内に収容した粒状体が同室内
を上昇して上端部から内筒内へ入る方向に回転す
る駆動装置を付設することによつて、傾斜設置し
た1槽のドラム内で粒状体を、ドラムの底面に沿
う上昇流とドラムの軸心に沿う下降流とに整然と
区別され、互いに入り混じることのない一方通行
の循環を行なわせるようにした流動循環装置を提

能のモータMの出力軸に固定したチエンホイル6
bとの間にチエンを掛け渡して、ドラム1を回転
する駆動装置、7はドラム1の外周の前後に固定
したリングレール、8は機台F上でそれぞれリン
グレール7の下面に左右から接してドラム1を回
転自在に支承する転子、9は一体に重ね合わせた
ドラム1と内筒2の上部端面板の中心に開口する
材料投入口10へ研摩材と研摩物を混合した粒状
体を供給する供給樋、11はドラム1の下部側面
に開口する排出口12を開閉するようにしてドラ
ム1の外周面に沿つて摺動可能に設けた排出用
蓋、13は上記排出口12から排出される粒状体

て回転するドラムが1槽でありながら、その内部
に生ずる粒状体の移動は、ドラムの底面に沿つて
一方へ上昇する上昇流と内筒内を降下する下降流
とが該内筒によつて遮断されドラムの上下でのみ
連続する整然とした完全な一方通行の循環流を生
ずるので、従来のミキサータイプのような混流を
生ぜず、作動中の粒状物同士の無用な衝突を可及
的に抑止することができる。また、ドラム内で一
方通行の循環流を生じさせるための2槽並置の必
要がないので、設置床面積を小さくでき、かつ、
安価に製作し得る利点がある。さらにドラム内壁
に沿う副突条を設けることにより、収容する粒状
体を極少量まで完全に循環せしめ、かつ、最後ま
で排出することができ残留量を生じさせない使用

傾斜させて機台上に回転自在に横架した円筒形の
ドラム内に、ドラム内壁との間に適宜の間隔を有
して内筒を挿入するとともに、この内筒の外周面
とドラム内壁とに両側縁を固着したらせん隔壁を
設けてドラム内壁に沿つて連続するらせん室を形
成し、このらせん室の両端にそれぞれ前記内筒と
連通する上下の循環口を設け、このドラムに、上
記らせん室内に収容した粒状体が同室内を上昇し
て上端部から内筒内へ入る方向に回転する駆動装
