[Prior art] In ring spinning machines, as the speed of spindle rotation increases, the balloon tension of the yarn generated by centrifugal force increases, causing yarn breakage in yarns with low yarn strength. I've reached my limit. In order to solve this problem, it has been proposed that a cylindrical cover is provided on the outer periphery of the bobbin so as to be movable up and down, so that the winding can be carried out with a constant balloon tension.

Figure 3 shows this spinning machine. As shown in the figure, a cylindrical cover 7 surrounding the bobbin 2 inserted into the spindle 1 and rotated is provided on the outer periphery of the bobbin 2.
is supported by an elevating frame 8 so as to be movable up and down and rotatable around an axis. The thread 10 is fed from the feed roller 12 above the bobbin 2.
The hook 2 passes through the yarn guide 13 and is guided into the cover 7 via a locking groove 20 formed at the upper end of the cover 7, and is guided into the cover 7 by a hook 2 protruding from the lower end inside the cover 7.
1 and is wound onto a rotating bobbin 2.

This spinning machine allows the yarn 10 guided from the yarn guide 13 to pass through the cover 7, thereby suppressing the balloon B generated by centrifugal force within a certain small range, reducing balloon tension, and increasing the speed of spinning. is made possible.

[Problem to be solved by the invention] However, in the above-mentioned spinning machine, once the cover 7 rotates, the rotation is maintained by the tension of the yarn 10 at the time of winding. Since it is necessary to set up the cover 7 up to several times, there is a problem in that a power source such as a jet nozzle 22 that sprays an air jet onto the outer periphery of the cover 7 and drives it to rotate, a control device that controls the air jet, and the like are required.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to achieve the above object, the spinning machine according to the present invention includes a cylindrical cover that moves up and down to surround the outer periphery of a bobbin that is inserted into a spindle and rotated;
a yarn guide supported at a constant height from the upper end of the cover and guiding the supplied yarn into the cover;
The present invention is characterized by comprising a traveler which is rotatably attached to the inner peripheral portion of the lower end of the cover via a ring and guides the thread onto the bobbin.

[Operation] When the bobbin is rotated by the spindle and starts winding the yarn, the tension of the yarn causes the traveler to run and rotate along the ring, twisting the yarn, as in a normal ring spinning machine. Since the traveler rotates in this way, unlike conventional cover-type spinning machines, there is no need for a power source or control device to rotate the cover at the start. In addition, since it is equipped with a cover, the balloon tension of the yarn is reduced, similar to conventional cover-type spinning machines, and spinning speed can be increased.

When the yarn 10 is supplied from the feed roller 12 and the bobbin 2 is rotated by the spindle 1, the yarn 10 supplied from the feed roller 12 passes through the yarn guide 13, the inner wall of the cover 7, and the traveler 11, and is wound onto the bobbin 2. It will be done. The tension of the thread 10 during winding causes the traveler 11 to run and rotate along the ring 9, thereby twisting the thread 10. Since the traveler 11 rotates in this manner, unlike a conventional cover-type spinning machine, there is no need for a power source or a control device to rotate the cover at the time of start, and the structure is simplified. In this way,
The thread 10 is wound onto the bobbin 2 so as to form a predetermined thread layer as the cover 7 moves up and down gradually with a constant stroke. During this winding, the yarn 10 is rotated by the traveler 11 and a centrifugal force is generated, but the centrifugal force of the yarn 10 located inside the cover 7 is received by the inner wall of the cover 7. A balloon B is simply formed on the yarn 10 located between the cover 7 and the yarn guide 13 due to centrifugal force. Therefore, the balloon tension of the yarn 10 is maintained at a small constant level, so that high speed spinning can be achieved.

Note that FIG. 2 shows a modification in which the cover 7 is attached to the lifting frame 8 via a bearing 15 so as to be rotatable about its axis. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, friction occurs when the thread 10 rotates along the inner wall of the fixed cover 7, but in the second embodiment, the cover 10 rotates due to the frictional force, so the friction is absorbed. or can be decreased.
