Description
【考案の詳細な説明】
(イ) 産業上の利用分野
本考案は、ビデオテープレコーダ(以下VTR
と称する)においてビデオカセツトの誤挿入防止
装置に係り、特にVHS方式におけるフロントロ
ーデイングタイプにおいて横方向から前記ビデオ
カセツトの挿入を阻止するのに最適な同装置に関
する。
(ロ) 従来例
一般にビデオカセツトを用いたVTR即ちβ方
式及びVHS方式のVTRでは殆どのものは、異常
方向の挿入即ちビデオカセツトの横方向挿入の防
止策が施されておらず、特にVHS方式のビデオ
カセツトでは前方向のコーナー面取りが小さいの
で、それを検知する方法は、ビデオカセツトの寸
法のバラツキ等を考慮すると困難なため、誤挿入
防止装置が設けられたVTRは現在なく、ビデオ
カセツトを誤挿入してしまつたとき、VTRのガ
イドポスト又はシリンダヘツドを破損してしまう
欠点があつた。
(ハ) 考案の目的
本考案は、カセツト方式のVTRのうち、特に
VHS方式のVTRにおいて、ビデオカセツトを誤
挿入即ち横方向に挿入しようとしても、カセツト
ステージの奥方向の挿入を阻止し、従来のように
ビデオカセツトの誤挿入によるガイドポスト及び
シリンダヘツドの破損を防止する新規なビデオカ
セツトの誤挿入防止装置を提供するものである。
(ニ) 考案の構成
本考案は、ビデオカセツトが挿入され、受入れ
保持するカセツトステージの上面に前記カセツト
の奥行の長さより長い距離を隔てた一対のガイド
片と該両ガイド片の間に誤挿入阻止片を設け、前
記ビデオカセツトの誤挿入時前記誤挿入阻止片に
より前記ビデオカセツトの奥方挿入を阻止する構
成である。
(ホ) 実施例
図面はいずれも本考案のビデオカセツトの誤挿
入防止装置の要部斜視図を示し、第1図はビデオ
カセツトを正常方向に挿入した状態、第2図は同
カセツトを右側面方向から誤挿入した状態、第3
図は同カセツトを左側面方向から誤挿入した状態
の各斜視図である。
次に図面に従つて説明すると、1はカセツト本
体2及びカセツト蓋3より成るビデオカセツト、
4は天板5を有するカセツトステージ、カセツト
の誤挿入防止具6,6′を有するカセツトステー
ジ、7,7′,8,8′及び9は各々前記カセツト
誤挿入防止具6に設けたガイド片、誤挿入阻止片
及び支軸を示す。
いま第1図に示す様にビデオカセツト1を正常
方向即ち正面方向からカセツト蓋3の側を先に挿
入すると一対のガイド片7,7′は矢印方向Aへ
の付勢力(本実施例ではカセツト挿入防止具の自
重力)に抗してビデオカセツト1の天板に接触
し、カセツト誤挿入防止具6及び6′が時計方向
に回転し、該ビデオカセツト1の奥方への挿入は
スムーズに行われる。このときビデオカセツト1
のカセツト蓋3は開蓋手段(図示せず)によつ
て、第1図において反時計方向に開蓋操作が行わ
れ、磁気テープが露出した状態でビデオカセツト
1はカセツトステージ4に収納され、カセツトロ
ーデイング動作が終了する。
ところが第2図及び第3図のように、ビデオカ
セツト1の横方向挿入(側面方向からの挿入)さ
れた場合、先ず第2図の状態(右側方向挿入時)
では、カセツト誤挿入防止具6の左端のガイド片
7は図示のように前記ガイド片6の先端の折曲部
によつて、時計方向に回転し、該ビデオカセツト
1を奥方挿入は妨げないが、誤挿入防止具6の右
端のガイド片7′は前記ビデオカセツト1の上面
に当接することなく、反時計方向に付勢されたま
まの状態であり、従つてカセツト誤挿入防止具6
の誤挿入阻止片8の先端はビデオカセツト1の側
壁に当接し、第2図に示す状態以上にビデオカセ
ツト1が奥方に挿入されることはない。又第3図
の状態(左側方向挿入時)では、カセツト誤挿入
防止具6の右端のガイド片7′は図示のように該
ガイド片7′の先端の折曲部によつて、時計方向
に回転し、該ビデオカセツト1を奥方挿入は妨げ
ないが、誤挿入防止具6′の左端のガイド片7は
前記ビデオカセツト1の上面に当接することな
く、反時計方向に付勢されたままの状態となつ
て、第2図と同様にカセツト誤挿入防止具6′の
誤挿入阻止片8′の先端はビデオカセツト側壁に
当接し、第3図に示す状態以上にビデオカセツト
1が奥方(矢印方向B)に挿入されることはな
い。
ここでビデオカセツト1の奥行をl、前記ガイ
ド片間の距離をdとするとl<dとなしてあり、
該ビデオカセツト1をカセツトステージ4に誤挿
入した場合は必ず誤挿入阻止片8又は8′に該ビ
デオカセツト1の側面が当接することになりビデ
オカセツトの誤挿入は未然に防止できる。なお前
記カセツト誤挿入防止具の第1図におけるA′方
向への付勢は、別個にバネを用いて行つても良
い。
(ヘ) 考案の効果
本考案のビデオカセツトの誤挿入防止装置によ
れば、カセツトステージの天板に設けたビデオカ
セツト誤挿入防止具の誤挿入阻止片により特に誤
まつてカセツトステージに対して横方向にビデオ
カセツトを挿入した場合、前記阻止片の該ビデオ
カセツトへの当接により、奥方に挿入されるのを
阻止でき、従来ガイドポール、シリンダヘツド等
