1を取り付けた上プラテンである。 The porous stalk tube 7 is concentric with the stalk tube 5 and is communicatively connected to the stalk tube 5 via a sealing material 8 . And porous stalk tube 7
has air permeability and whose upper surface level is lower than the lower platen 6.
Furthermore, the inner diameter is approximately the same as that of the stalk tube 5. Further, an annular groove 9 is formed on the inner surface of the through hole 6a,
The annular groove 9 communicates with the outer surface of the lower platen 6 via a communication hole 10. 11 is an inert gas generation source that generates an inert gas such as argon gas or nitrogen gas, and the inert gas generation source 11 is connected to the pressure reducing valve 1.
2, is connected to the communication hole 10 via a surge tank 13, a flow rate adjustment valve 14, and an electromagnetic on-off valve 15 in this order. Further, a lower mold 17 having a pouring port 16 is mounted on the lower platen 6, and the pouring port 16 is connected to the porous stalk pipe 7 via a sealing material 18. Further, the furnace lid 4 is provided with an inert gas supply port 19, and the supply port 19 is connected to a pressurized gas source such as an inert gas. 20 is disposed so as to be movable up and down, and the upper mold 2
This is the upper platen with 1 attached.

Prior to injecting the molten metal M into the annular groove 9 , the electromagnetic on-off valve 15 is first opened to supply inert gas from the surge tank 13 into the annular groove 9 through the through hole 10 .
Then, the supplied inert gas flows through the body of the porous stalk tube 7 and enters the porous stalk tube 7, and since the inert gas that entered the porous stalk tube 7 is heavier than air, it descends into the stalk tube. 5
It covers the upper surface of the molten metal in the stoke tube 5 and removes the air above the molten metal to accumulate in the stalk pipe 5. Next, when the electromagnetic on-off valve 15 is closed and pressurized gas is supplied into the holding furnace 2 from the supply port 19 to press the molten metal M in the holding furnace 2, the molten metal M flows into the stalk pipe 5 and the porous stalk pipe 7. and as the molten metal M rises, the air and inert gas in the stalk pipes 5, 7 and the upper and lower molds 21, 17 are discharged from the gap between the upper and lower molds 21, 17,
Eventually, the upper and lower molds 21 and 17 are filled with molten metal M and pressurized. Filling and pressurizing the molten metal M is completed, and the upper
After the molten metal M in the lower molds 21 and 17 has solidified to a predetermined state, pressurized gas is discharged from the holding furnace 2 to lower the molten metal M in the stalk tube 5 and the porous stalk tube 7, and then the above-mentioned process is performed. Similarly, inert gas is supplied into the annular groove 9 and a normal low pressure casting process is carried out to complete one cycle.

優れた実用的効果を奏する。(Effect of the invention) As is clear from the above explanation, the present invention seals the upper end opening of the stalk pipe 7 vertically installed on the furnace lid 4 of the holding furnace 2 and the pouring port 16 of the lower mold 17. 8. Since the porous stalk pipe 7 and the sealing material 18 are connected to each other, and an inert gas generation source is connected to the outer peripheral surface of the porous stalk pipe 7 through the electromagnetic on-off valve 15, the molten metal is pressurized. Immediately after the state is released, the inert gas can flow from the outer peripheral surface of the porous stalk tube 7 into the porous stalk tube 7 to cover the upper surface of the molten metal in the stalk tube 7 with the inert gas. It is possible to prevent the formation of oxides on the surface of the molten metal inside the mold, and it has excellent practical effects such as making it possible to prevent the occurrence of defective castings.
