本考案は押出機の横型スクリユ式定量供給装置

従来の単軸および多軸押出機に対する横型スク
リユ式定量供給装置は、通常シリンダ内にスクリ

れ、スクリユを回転することによりシリンダ先端
の開口した口部を通して押出機に供給していた。
この場合、特にスクリユの回転数が遅いと原料が
しまりシリンダ内部に充満することにより、円筒
状のブロツクになつてシリンダ口部から押出機供
給口に落下する。従つて押出機に対して原料供給
は間欠的になり、サージングが発生して均質な製
品が得られず品質低下の原因になつていた。

複数の交叉した堰を有するゲートをシリンダ先端
の開口部にスクリユ軸と直角に取付けたことを特
徴にしている。
