【考案の詳細な説明】
本考案は、短繊維糸条とフイラメント糸条とを
引揃えた、一部に短繊維を含む糸条(以下短繊維
を含む糸条という。)に旋回又は撹乱等の加工を
施し、その際に該糸条から脱落する短繊維屑を容
易に補捉除去しうるようにした糸条処理装置に関

る。この短繊維を含む糸条に、捲縮、交絡あるい
はループなどの加工を施すには、一般に第1図に
示すような工程により行われる。即ち短繊維糸条
Yaとマルチフイラメント糸条Ybとがガイド1に
より引揃えられて引揃え糸条Yabとなり、フイー
ドローラ2を経てガイド3により糸条加工装置4
内へ導入され、捲縮、交絡、ループ等の所要の加
工が施されて加工糸条Y′abとなり、ガイド5を
経てデリベリローラ6により引き出され、ガイド
ローラ7を経て巻取ドラム8により紙管9に巻き
取られる。この場合、引揃え糸条Yabが糸条加工
装置4内へ入る直前に該糸条加工装置4から噴出
する撹乱用流体の作用を受けたり、又は該糸条加
工装置4内で旋回又は撹乱作用を受けたりする
と、マルチフイラメント糸条Ybと引揃えられて
いる短繊維糸条Ya中の把持の弱い一部の短繊維
が脱落し、短繊維屑となつて糸条加工装置4の周
辺に飛散し、時間の経過とともに付着蓄積し、そ
れらが走行する引揃え糸条Yabに飛び込み、糸切
れ等の原因となつて加工操業性を著しく低下させ
たり、又得られる加工糸の品質にも悪影響を及ぼ
している。又作業場を短繊維屑が多数飛散浮遊
し、特に糸条加工装置4に用いる撹乱用流体に空
気を使用する場合には、コンプレツサーからの圧
縮空気流の中に含まれる水やオイル等が短繊維屑
に付着し、これが飛散して作業場の壁面や床面あ
るいはガイド等の機台表面に付着し、容易に除去
することができずそのまま堆積して作業環境の悪

置を収容する遮蔽箱とからなる糸条処理装置であ

糸条加工装置4の入口4aに吸引口10′を近接
させて配設する繊維屑吸引管10の本数は1本で
あるが、必要に応じて複数本設けてもよく、これ

出口4bから遠ざかるに従つて急速に方向性を失
つて拡散し、その吸引除去が困難となる短繊維屑
を、入口4a又は出口4bの近辺で殆ど吸引して
しまうことができる。なお短繊維屑の方向性に関
して、実験により次のごとき知見を得ている。即
ち、例えば糸条加工装置4として、糸条の入口4
a側と出口4b側の双方から空気を噴出させる空
気交絡加工装置を用いる場合、該加工装置4へ導
入される引揃え糸条Yab中の把持の弱い短繊維
は、その導入直前に入口4aから糸条の進行方向
とは逆方向に噴出する空気流により該糸条Yabか
ら離脱し、短繊維屑となつて該入口4a近辺では
噴出気流に乗つて糸条の進行方向とは逆方向に飛
散することになり、一方糸条加工装置4へ導入さ
れた糸条からは、前記のごとくすでに把持の弱い
短繊維は離脱してしまつているため、撹乱作用に
よつてもさらに短繊維が離脱することなく殆ど交
絡し、出口4b側から短繊維屑の飛散は少ない。
又糸条加工装置4として、糸条の出口4b側のみ
から流体を噴出する加工装置を用いる場合は、糸
条の入口4a側では流体が吸引されて負圧状態と
なるために、該入口4aからの短繊維の飛散は無
いが、糸条の出口4b側からは糸条加工装置4内
の撹乱作用によつて脱落した短繊維が、短繊維屑
となつて出口4bから噴出する流体に乗り、糸条
の進行方向に方向性を保ちながら飛散する。さら
に流体を使用しない糸条加工装置4の場合におい
ても、導入される糸条の進行により生じる随伴気
流によつて、短繊維屑の飛散に方向性が生じる。
本考案の糸条処理装置は、糸条加工装置4におけ
る上記のごとき短繊維屑の飛散の方向性を巧みに
利用して効率よく吸引除去しうるようにしたもの
である。次に本考案の糸条処理装置は、糸条加工
装置4を遮蔽箱14内に収容しているため、糸条
加工装置4の入口4a又は出口4b近辺で吸引除
去されないで残る短繊維屑を遮蔽箱14内に浮遊
させ、その浮遊中に繊維屑吸引管10によつて殆
ど捕捉することができ、作業場内等へ短繊維屑を
