【考案の詳細な説明】
a 考案の目的
(産業上の利用分野)
この考案に係る蒸気滅菌用インジケータは、病
医院、各種研究施設に於いて患者用衣服、手術衣
等の被滅菌物を蒸気滅菌器を用いて滅菌処理をす
る場合に用い、上記被滅菌物の内部迄確実に滅菌
されたか否かを判定するのに利用する。[Detailed explanation of the invention] a. (従来の技術)
病院等に於いては院内感染を防止するため、患
者の使用した衣服や手術衣等を滅菌処理すること
が行なわれているが、この様な滅菌処理は、例え
ば第2図に示すような蒸気滅菌装置を用いて行な

を囲む外筒3とから成る滅菌装置を設け、上記内
筒2の前面開口は、器体1の前面に設けた蓋4に

和水蒸気により濡れた被滅菌物を乾燥させるため
内筒2内を真空にした後外筒3に巻回されたパイ
プ内で加温された清浄空気を内筒2内に送り込む
作業を繰り返し行なう乾燥行程とを順番に行な
う。この間、外筒3内には常に高温の水蒸気を充
満させておき、真空行程時に於ける被滅菌物の加
温、滅菌行程時に於ける内筒の保温、乾燥行程時
に於ける被滅菌物からの水分の蒸発促進を図つて

(考案が解決しようとする問題点)
ところで、上述のように構成される蒸気滅菌装
置により、被滅菌物の滅菌処理を行なう場合、単
に被滅菌物の温度を高くするだけでなく、この被
滅菌物を飽和水蒸気に接触させる事が必要になる
が、被滅菌物が衣服等の繊維製品である場合、滅
菌時間が不足すると、この被滅菌物の周囲に飽和
水蒸気を充満させただけではこの飽和水蒸気が被

滅菌物の内部に迄飽和水蒸気が達したか否かを判

れたか否かを判定する場合、次の様にして行な

時点に於いて確実な滅菌が行なわれたか否かを確
実に知る事が可能となり、細菌が付着したままの
物品を再使用する事に伴なう病気感染等の危険を
回避する事が出来る。c.
