【考案の詳細な説明】 [産業上の利用分野] 本考案は水冷方式を用いる内燃機関のウオータ
ーポンプ用インペラに関し、具体的には軸受部の
保護をなしかつ液体吐出流量の増大が図れるイン
ペラの形状改良に関するものである。

割は、回転するインペラが受ける強い水圧に耐え
るべく羽根部材Aと一体となつてその強度を向上
させる補強作用と羽根爪1形成跡の切欠き部3か
らの水流逃げを防止し流量増加を計る目的をもつ
ている。

該メカニカルシールE付近の液体をほとんど流動
させない。こうなると同じ液体が同箇所に滞留し
回転するメカニカルシールEの摺動部E1が発す
る摩擦熱を帯熱してしまうから、該摺動部E1
高温のままの運転を余儀なくされ著しくその寿命
を短かめてしまう。

補助する補助円盤Bとを重合せしめ、これらをボ
ス部Cと組合せたウオーターポンプ用のインペラ
Dであつて、前記補助円盤Bに絞り加工を施して
その片面あるいは両面に突出した凸部2を複数設
けたことを特徴としている。

面あるいは両面に突出する凸部2を複数設け、
該凸部2を前記羽根部材Aの羽根爪1によつて
形成された切欠き部3と同位置になる様に重合
させたことを特徴としたインペラ。 (2) 前記補助円盤Bの羽根部材A側の凸部2を前
記切欠き部3に噛合わせ重合せしめ固着を不要
としたことを特徴とした実用新案登録請求の範
囲第1項記載のインペラ。
