Claims (1)
対称な略長円形断面を有し、前記断面の長径側一
端部にねじれ規制面を備えた素線を用い、該素線
に、その長径延長線がコイル軸線に交差するよう
にコイリングを施してコイルばねを製造するに当
り、前記素線を一方向に送る供給ローラ対と、該
供給ローラ対により送られた前記素線を嵌挿して
ガイドすべく、該素線の断面形状と相似形をなす
ガイド孔を有する先端ガイド型と、該先端ガイド
型の近傍に配設されて前記ガイド孔を通過した前
記素線にコイリングを施すコイリング部材と、該
コイリング部材により成形されたコイルをコイル
軸線方向に移動させるピツチツールとを備え、前
記供給ローラ対は前記素線のねじれ規制面側に摺
擦するガイド溝を有する第1ローラと、前記素線
のねじれ規制面と反対側に存する凸弧面側に摺擦
するガイド溝を有する第2ローラとよりなり、前
記コイリング部材は前記素線のねじれ規制面側に
摺擦するガイド溝を有する押圧体と、前記素線の
凸弧面側に摺擦するガイド溝を有する受け部材と
よりなり、前記ガイド孔を前記素線のねじれ規制
面に適合させて該素線にそのコイリング時のねじ
れ方向と逆方向のねじれを付与すべく、前記ガイ
ド孔の長径延長線を前記コイル軸線と平行な直線
に対し傾斜させて該長径延長線に傾き角を持たせ
たコイリング装置において、前記供給ローラ対の
両ガイド溝により画成される仮想素線断面の長径
延長線および前記コイリング部材の両ガイド溝に
より画成される仮想素線断面の長径延長線に、前
記ガイド孔の前記長径延長線と同方向の傾き角を
持たせ、各長径延長線の傾き角を、前記供給ロー
ラ対、先端ガイド型およびコイリング部材の順に
