[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a silencer for plants such as thermal power plants.

In thermal power plants and other plants that have tanks (flush pipes) for discharging steam and condensate, silencers are installed at the exhaust outlet of the tank exhaust pipe if the amount is large. However, the greater the amount of steam or drain, the more water droplets are carried away into the exhaust pipe, causing a rain phenomenon. Also, even when discharging superheated steam into a tank,
Many plants put cooling water in a tank to reduce the flow velocity in the exhaust pipe and silencer, thereby reducing the specific volume of steam and reducing noise. A rain phenomenon is occurring at the silencer exit.

The only countermeasure against this problem is to provide a mist separator inside the exhaust pipe.

Particularly in recent plants, startups and shutdowns have become more frequent, and rain phenomena have become more common. Note that steam and condensate are discarded mainly during startup and shutdown.

In plants such as thermal power plants, when starting up, a particularly large amount of condensate (containing steam) is disposed of outside the system, and the destination of the water is a drain pipe 4, such as a flush pipe (also known as a blow tank) 3. is discarded outside the system. The steam passes through an exhaust pipe 2 and a silencer 1 and is disposed of outside the system.

Recently, DSS (daily start/stop) plant operation has been promoted, and if the startup time is to be shortened, the amount of drain discharged outside the plant system will be extremely large. Safe separation becomes impossible, and water droplets pass through the exhaust pipe 2 and the silencer 1 and exit from the silencer 1, resulting in a rain phenomenon.

The present invention was developed to solve the problems of the conventional example, and by installing a water droplet collecting device on the silencer, it is possible to eliminate the phenomenon of rain falling from the exhaust pipe at a low cost.

以下、本考案の実施例について第2図を参照し

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIG.

In Fig. 2, numeral 1 is a silencer, 2 is an exhaust pipe, 5 is a porous nozzle (inner cylinder), 6 is a core provided in the inner cylinder, 7 is a silencer element, 8 is a silencer outer cylinder, and 9 is a drain. Without exception, arrow a indicates the steam flow velocity distribution from nozzle 5.

The diameter of the silencer outer cylinder 8 is increased.
Therefore, the upward flow velocity of the steam within the silencer outer cylinder 8 is much smaller than the steam flow velocity within the exhaust pipe 2. However, the rising flow rate of steam inside the silencer outer cylinder 8 is:
This is largely due to the steam flow velocity distribution at the outlet of the porous nozzle 5.

Therefore, a conical core 6 is provided in the porous nozzle 5 so that the top is located downward, so that the steam flow velocity distribution at the outlet of the porous nozzle 5 is made uniform and the silencer outer cylinder 8 is
By uniformizing the rising flow rate of steam within the silencer, it is possible to take in water without increasing the diameter of the silencer outer cylinder 8.

By adopting the silencer of the present invention, there is no need to install a large water droplet collecting device in the exhaust pipe, the layout becomes compact, costs can be reduced, and it is possible to prevent rain from raining on the plant silencer.
