Claims (1)
放電ランプを点灯するための低圧放電ランプ点灯
装置において、 高周波トランスを含み、出力周波数が一定の高
周波点灯回路と、 前記高周波トランスのメイン出力端子間に接続
された、低圧放電ランプを放電させて定常点灯さ
せる放電回路と、 共振回路を有し、前記高周波トランスのサブ出
力端子間に接続された、少なくとも一方のフイラ
メント電極に予熱電流を流す予熱回路と、 前記予熱回路の共振回路は、インピーダンス変
換機能を有し、点灯起動時にはフイラメント電極
に予熱電流を流す第1インピーダンス状態が選択
され、予熱時間経過後にはフイラメント電極に予
熱電流を実質上流さない第2インピーダンス状態
が選択されることを特徴とする低圧放電ランプ点
灯装置。 (2) 放電回路が共振回路を有し、当該共振回路
は、インピーダンス変換機能を有し、点灯起動時
にはフイラメント電極間に放電電流を実質上流さ
ない第1インピーダンス状態が選択され、予熱時
間経過後にはフイラメント電極間に放電電流を流
す第2インピーダンス状態が選択されることを特
徴とする請求項1に記載の低圧放電ランプ点灯装
