例を示す断面図であり、第２図は従来のオイルパ
ンを装着した自動車用ガソリンエンジンの断面図
である。 図中、１はエンジン、２はクランクケース、３
はオイルパン、４は潤滑油、９は沈澱物、１１は
上層貯留部、１２は下層貯留部、１３は連通管、
１４はエア抜きパイプである。

- 内燃機関のクランクケース下面に取り付けられ
て潤滑油の貯留に供されるオイルパンであつて、
潤滑油の貯留部が上下二層に分割されるとともに
、上層の貯留部と下層の貯留部とを連通する連通
管が具えられていることを特徴とするオイルパン
。
