In particular, the present invention makes it extremely easy to set (mount) the cloth on the filter press plate (or frame), and the setting time can be significantly shortened, making it possible to achieve a markedly improved and labor-saving setting, and furthermore,
In conventional filter press fabric structures,
Even relatively thick and/or relatively hard and/or relatively large area fabrics that cannot be set on a board can be easily, quickly and labor-savingly set.・
In the case of fabric press structures, the fabric, which would otherwise have to be cut, removed from the board and disposed of after use, can be reused very easily and in a significantly reduced time and labor-saving manner without having to cut it after use. This has the advantage of being able to be removed from the board, and the removed cloth can be reused after cleaning. The present invention relates to a fabric structure for a filter press that can advantageously avoid the trouble of undue overcake accumulation in and around the center feed hole, and furthermore has many unique and improved properties, such as being easy to manufacture.

At this time, it is common to overlap the backing cloth 6 to form the stitched portion 3'. This suturing operation is extremely difficult and time-consuming, and becomes even more difficult and time-consuming when the fabric is relatively thick and/or relatively stiff and/or has a relatively large area. Furthermore, the upper end edges of the cloth members 1 and 1' are folded down and overlapped, and a tension bar insertion channel portion 4,
Sewn parts 5 and 5' are formed by stitching the remaining parts, leaving only part 4'.

Conventionally, the above-mentioned operation of setting a fabric structure on a board is a complicated and difficult operation that requires considerable time and effort, and the thicker the fabric member is, the more difficult it becomes.
The harder the cloth becomes, and the wider the area of the cloth, the more complicated and difficult the work becomes, resulting in overflow in the use of filter presses. Furthermore, as mentioned above, since the cloth member 1 needs to be able to pass through the center feed hole of the plate, there are disadvantages that naturally limit the thickness, material, weaving structure, area, etc. of the cloth member to be used. There is.

Furthermore, after the conventional fabric structure has been set on the plate by the above-mentioned complicated and difficult work, FIG. Although omitted,
It is common for a large number of plates, for example about 40 to 100 plates, to be used. (not shown) through the center feed holes 3, 3, . . . and passes through the interplate spaces a , a , . . . through the cloths 1, 1', . The liquid that has passed through flows through a number of groove-like patterns (not shown) provided on the plate surface, for example, 10' and 1 in Fig. 4.
The liquid is discharged through the liquid outlet passages indicated by 0', . Although this is a phenomenon, the center feed hole 3,
3. There is a tendency for overflow to be concentrated in and around the area, and as a result, this often leads to an undesirable accumulation of overcake in this area, resulting in obstruction of fluid flow and undue overpressure. There were defects that caused an increase in the amount of liquid, and in severe cases, there were even problems where the plate could not withstand the pressure of pumping the overflowing liquid and the plate broke.

Furthermore, when replacing a conventional fabric structure, the filter press is disassembled (the gap between the plates is widened), and the tension bar inserted into the tension bar insertion channel portions 4, 4' at the upper edge of the fabric is removed. is released from the tension condition imposed on the tension bar by, for example, a spring mechanism hanger, and one of the fabric members is pulled out so as to pass through the center feed hole of the plate, in a reverse operation to that described above for setting the fabric. It is necessary to fold it to a state where it can be used and then pull it out. However, it is significantly more difficult to pull out a wet fabric member in this way than when setting a fabric structure on a board, and in most cases it is practically impossible to pull it out in this way. Because of this condition, it is common for the cloth to be cut and removed from the board, and the removed cloth must be discarded. the result,
It is impossible to wash and reuse the cloth, which inevitably results in a large loss of materials.Also, it is possible to wash and reuse the cloth before it becomes excessively clogged, so that it has a long lifespan with excellent overefficiency. There is a disadvantage that it cannot be used often.

Furthermore, in conventional fabric structures, it is not possible to insert a tension bar in the tightening state in which the spacing between the plates is returned to the original state so that the tension bar is not inserted as much as in the unframed state. operation is required while the device is in a state where the This operation is also extremely complicated and difficult, and an improvement is desired to make it possible to insert the tension bar in the tightened state.

As a result, the cloth member 1 in the conventional cloth structure
By departing from the technical idea of an integral fixed structure that cannot be detached by the sutured portion 3' of 1', we have created a new type of two-member structure that has a simple structure and easy-to-manufacture removable fixing means. It has now been discovered that it is possible to provide a fabric structure for filter presses that has significantly improved properties that could not be achieved with conventional fabric structures.

According to the research of the present inventors, a filter press cloth member A has a hollow cylindrical flexible female type rising member with a top flange that rises along the periphery of the center feed hole, and a filter press cloth member A that is fitted with the female type rising member. a filter press fabric member B having a hollow cylindrical flexible male upright member with a top flange similar to that described above of matching dimensions;
and the back surface of the top flange of the male type rising member;
By having a structure in which the engaging surface portion of the cloth member A that engages with the back surface during the fitting is provided with a removable fixing means, it is extremely easy to set the cloth on the filter press plate. The time required for setting can be reduced significantly, for example, by about 1/3 or less compared to conventional fabric structures, making it possible to perform significantly improved and labor-saving setting, and furthermore,
It is possible to easily, quickly and labor-savingly set even relatively thick and/or relatively hard and/or relatively wide-area cloth, which is practically impossible to set on a board with conventional cloth structures; Furthermore, unlike conventional cloth structures, there is no need to cut it when removing it from the board.
It is possible to remove it from the board extremely easily and in a significantly shortened time and labor-savingly, and it can be reused after cleaning. It has been discovered that the trouble of undue accumulation of excess cake can be avoided, and the structure is free from defects such as obstruction of permeable liquid passage and plate breakage.

Furthermore, it is free from conventional constraints on the thickness, material, weaving structure, area, etc. of the cloth members used, and it can be washed and reused without excessive clogging, making it durable with excellent overefficiency. Advantages such as long service life can be obtained.Furthermore, instead of fixing the tension bar insertion channel part with sutures in the conventional fabric structure, this part can also be made into a removable fixing means for the engaging surface part of the suture part. It was found that it was possible to create a structure that allows insertion of the tension bar in the tightened state.

Since the cloth structure for filter press of the present invention has a detachable two-member structure as described above,
It is no longer necessary to pass one side of the fabric member through the center feed hole of the plate, making it extremely easy to set (attach) the fabric to the plate, and the setting time can be significantly shortened, resulting in a markedly improved labor-saving setting. Furthermore, relatively thick and/or relatively stiff and/or relatively large area fabrics that would be practically impossible to set onto a plate with conventional filter press fabric structures can be easily and quickly processed. It is now possible to set it up labor-savingly, and in addition, there is no need to cut the cloth after use, which in the case of conventional cloth structures for filter presses had to be cut, removed from the board, and disposed of. The advantage is that it can be removed from the board very easily and in a significantly shortened time and labor-savingly, and that the removed cloth can be reused after washing.

In FIG. 7-1, the cloth member A is passed through the center feed hole 3 of the plate 10 by utilizing the flexibility of the hollow cylindrical flexible female upright member with a top flange. It can be easily set as shown in the figure. Next, using the flexibility of the hollow cylindrical flexible male type upright member with a top flange, the cloth member B is similarly inserted into the center feed hole 3 from the side opposite to the plate side on which the cloth member A is set. As shown in Figure 7-2, by passing
The male type rising member portion can be easily fitted to the female type rising member of cloth member A. After fitting, the two can be fixed and integrated using the above-mentioned fixing means of the engagement surfaces P and Q of the two. Further, when removing the fabric structure from the board, the structure can be easily removed from the board in the reverse order to that described above.

In the cloth structure for filter press of the present invention, when fixing at the above-mentioned engaging surfaces P and Q portions,
In order to protect the fixed interface, as shown in the partial plan view in Figure 7-2, the upper half border of the fixed interface of the engagement part is covered, and the upper end is sutured and bonded. A protective cover 11 can be provided having a fixing part 11' fixed to the cloth 1 by any suitable means such as. In this way, after one cycle of excessive operation is completed, during the peeling operation of the produced cake, it is useful to prevent the peeled and falling cake from damaging the engaging part or invading the said part. I can do it. The protective cover 11' can be made of any suitable material, such as textiles similar to cloth, other high-density textiles, rubber, elastic plastics, etc.
Any suitable material can be selected and used, such as a cloth-like structure impregnated and coated with silicone resin or other material.

In addition, in the fabric structure for filter presses of the present invention, undue accumulation of excess cake in and around the center feed hole can be avoided by selecting the material of the upright member as shown in FIG. Then,
This can be prevented by preventing uneven errors from occurring through the center feed hole portion of the cloth member and its vicinity. For example, the upright member shown in FIG. 8 may be made of rubber, plastic, or cloth impregnated with these materials, or a suitable area around the center feed hole of the cloth 1 may be treated with hydrophobic resin, for example. This can be prevented by applying silicone resin treatment. Further, as shown in a partial cross-sectional view in FIG. 9-1, an annular elastic bellow extending from one opening end edge of the cylindrical body 2 is attached to the hollow cylindrical flexible female type upright member with a top flange. For example, when an annular bellow made of a material such as rubber or elastic plastic is provided and fitted with a hollow cylindrical flexible male type upright member with a top flange as shown in a partial cross-sectional view in Fig. 9-2, The repulsive force of the annular elastic bellows ensures close contact between the inner wall of the male cylindrical body 2 and the outer wall of the female cylindrical body 2 with an action mechanism similar to a snap spring, and the engagement surface P It is possible to add a means for preventing leakage of the liquid to be permeated through the space between Q and Q. This means not only transfers the liquid from the A side to the B side of the liquid existing in the gap between the cover plate 10 and the cloth A shown in FIG. It also helps prevent movement from the B side to the A side.

In the fabric structure for filter presses of the present invention, for example, as described above, it is necessary to prevent the center feed hole portion and its vicinity from being unduly damaged, which may impede the flow of liquid through the filter or, in extreme cases, cause plate damage. Problems such as excessive cake accumulation and leakage of permeable liquid through the engaging surfaces can also be advantageously avoided. Additionally, it has many unique and improved properties, including ease of fabrication.
