【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) エンジンのクランクシヤフトに連結された
ロータおよびこのロータに対置された点火コイル
付き固定子を有し、エンジン回転によつて交流電
圧を発生するマグネトと;該マグネトの出力の正
負いずれか一方の極性の電圧でエンジン点火プラ
グに火花放電を生ぜしめる点火装置と;エンジン
始動用セルモータと;該セルモータを駆動するた
めの二次電池と;エンジンの回転中に前記マグネ
トの出力の他方の極性の電圧で前記電池を充電す
る充電装置;とを備えた手持ち作業機用小型エン
ジンにおいて、 前記マグネトのロータが、前記点火プラグでの
火花放電のための交流電圧を固定子の点火コイル
に発生させる第1の磁石と、該第1の磁石に対し
てロータ上の取付回転角位置がずらされてエンジ
ンの圧縮行程以外の時期に点火コイルに交流電圧
を発生させる少なくとも一つの第2の磁石とを備
え、前記第1の磁石と前記第2の磁石とが、前記
ロータの一方向への回転に際して前記固定子に互
に逆向きの磁束変化を与えるように異なる着磁の
向きでロータに取付けられていることを特徴とす
る手持ち作業機用小型エンジン。 (2) 第1と第2の磁石がロータ上で等角度間隔
