よつて流体の密封をなさしめるメカニカルシール
Ａにおいて；前記メカニカルシールＡは、弾性体
からなるスリーブ５によつて回転軸１に固定され
た摺動リング２と、これに接するフリクシヨンリ
ングおよびスプリング・メンブレン等の封止部材
３と、該封止部材３を遊抱持するカートリツジ４
などからなつており、前記スリーブ５を延長して
その先部にシールリツプ６を設けこれを前記カー
トリツジ４の端部の径方向内周面に接触せしめた
