First, in Fig. 1, 1 and 2 are adjacent first and second buildings, which are close to each other.
A joint portion 3 having a predetermined width is formed between them. 4, 4 are long flat plates fixed along the joints 3 on the upper surfaces of the handrail walls 1a, 2a on the rooftops of the first and second buildings 1, 2, and there are joints between these flat plates 4, 4. A sheet-like sealing member 5 made of synthetic rubber is attached to make the section 3 airtight on the roof. 6
is a first fixed body that is intermittently installed on the handrail wall 1a of the first building 1 so as to be located to the left of the joint 3, and this fixed body 6 is installed on both sides as shown in FIG. It is constructed by fixing one end of the joint part 3 side of the support plate 7, which is formed by bending the upright pieces 7a and 7b, to one end of the L-shaped legs 9 and 9, respectively, via connecting plates 8 and 8 on both sides thereof. A gap 10 of a predetermined width is formed between the support plate 7 and the legs 9, 9 on the other end side. Reference numeral 11 denotes a second fixed body that is intermittently installed on the handrail wall 2a of the second building 2 so as to be located to the right of the joint 3, and this second fixed body 11 is connected to the first fixed body. Since it is constructed symmetrically with the body 6, the same parts are given the same reference numerals and detailed explanations will be omitted. Reference numeral 12 denotes a long cover plate having a substantially V-shaped cross section, with hanging pieces 12a and 12b bent on both left and right sides, and a horizontal plate 1 between both hanging pieces 12a and 12b.
3 are being constructed intermittently. Note that 14 is a vertical plate that connects the cover plate 12 and the horizontal plate 13 at their central portions. A roller 15 is pivotally mounted between the compatible upper pieces 7a and 7b of the support plate 7 of both the fixed bodies 6 and 11 by a shaft 16, and both left and right sides of the horizontal plate 13 of the cover plate 12 are connected to the respective fixed bodies 6 and 11. It is placed on the roller 15 of. In this state, the cover plate 12 covers the joint portion 3 from above, and at this time, each hanging piece 12
a, 12b and handrail walls 1a, 2a of each building 1, 2
A gap 17 of a predetermined width is formed between the two.
Such a cover plate 12 has both sides of the horizontal plate 13 placed on the first and second fixed bodies 6 and 11, so that the cover plate 12 can be moved in the left-right direction with the rotation of the roller 15 and in the axial direction on the roller 15. It is possible to move in the front and rear directions by sliding, and also to rotate in the vertical direction around the rollers 15. Reference numeral 18 denotes a holder for holding the cover plate 12 so that it does not come off inadvertently, and as shown in FIG. Two rods 20, 21 are inserted and supported so as to be slidable in the left and right direction, which is the longitudinal direction, and two rods 20, 2 are attached to the case 19.
1 and a pinion 23 as a rotating body rotatably supported via a shaft 22 so as to be located between the two pinions. And the pinion 23 has two rods 20,
21, that is, mesh with rack portions 20a and 21a formed on the two rods 20 and 21, respectively, and rotate as the rods 20 and 21 move. Such a support 18 is provided in case 1
Rods 20 and 21 located on opposite sides of 9
One end is attached to the handrail walls 1a and 2a of buildings 1 and 2, respectively.
It is connected to a hinge 24 attached above via a shaft 26 that together with this hinge 24 constitutes a hinge mechanism 25, so that the other ends of the rods 20 and 21 can be rotated horizontally and vertically. . Such a holder 18 can be freely expanded and contracted in the left and right direction by moving the two rods 20 and 21 in opposite directions while rotating the pinion 23 when the buildings 1 and 2 shake in the left and right directions. Also, both buildings 1,
When the lever 2 swings vertically, both ends of the rods 20 and 21 rotate vertically about the hinge 24, thereby always maintaining a state parallel to the horizontal plate 13 of the cover plate 12. Further, in the holding body 18, when both buildings 1 and 2 swing in the front-back direction, the rods 20 and 21 rotate around the shaft 26 of the hinge mechanism 25. Thus, the upper end of the shaft 22 that supports the pinion 23 is connected to a hole 2 formed approximately at the center of the horizontal plate 13 of the cover plate 12.
A compression spring 29 is interposed between the horizontal plate 13 and a double nut 28 screwed onto the protruding end of the double nut 28, which connects the cover plate 12 to the holder 18. . Therefore, the shaft 22 functions as a connecting member that connects the cover plate 12 to the holder 18. Then, both rods 2 of the holding body 18
The rack parts 20a and 21a of 0 and 21 are the pinion 2
3, both rods 20 and 21
When moving in the longitudinal direction as both buildings 1 and 2 sway, they move by the same length relative to case 19. Therefore, the case 19 is always positioned approximately at the center of the joint 3 regardless of the shaking of the buildings 1 and 2, and as a result, the center of the cover plate 12 is always approximately aligned with the center of the joint 3. be maintained as such. Incidentally, a large number of holding bodies 18 as described above are provided intermittently between both handrail walls 1a and 2a. 30 covers one side edge with plate 1
The other side edge of each auxiliary cover plate 30 is a long auxiliary cover plate fixed to the inner surface of each hanging piece 12a, 12b of 2, and the other side edge of each auxiliary cover plate 30 is connected to the support plate 7 and leg 9 of each of the first and second fixed bodies 6, 11. It extends horizontally within 10 spaces between 9 rods. 31 are located opposite to each other below each auxiliary cover plate 30, and each of the first and second fixed bodies 6,
A sealing plate placed and fixed on the leg 9 of 11, with a water-blocking piece 31a bent upward on one side edge on the side of the joint 3, and on the other side opposite to the side of the joint 3. A sealing piece 31b is bent downward at the edge, and a seal 32 is filled between the sealing piece 31b and the handrail walls 1a, 2a, so that rainwater can flow along the upper surface of the handrail walls 1a, 2a and form the joint 3. I'm trying not to get into the side. 3
3 is a seal body attached to each auxiliary cover plate 31;
This has a fin 33a extending downward, and the fin 33a slides on the upper surface of the sealing plate 31 to seal between the cover plate 12 side and the handrail walls 1a and 2a. Therefore, the hanging pieces 12a of the cover plate 12,
Rainwater that enters between the auxiliary cover plate 30 and the sealing plate 31 through the gap 17 between the handrail wall 12b and the handrail walls 1a and 2a is prevented from flowing further into the joint 3 side by the sealing plate 33. be interrupted. At this time, even if rainwater passes through the sealing body 33, the sealing plate 33 as in this embodiment
If the water-shielding piece 31a is formed upright on the joint part 3, the water-shielding piece 31a can block water.
It is possible to more reliably prevent rainwater from entering.
