By the way, when casting a porous structure that is a cast product, a core of a predetermined shape that forms the hole is formed from casting sand, and while it is placed in the casting cavity of the mold, Molten metal is poured into the core while a predetermined casting material is placed around the core at a predetermined distance from the core.

(Problem) However, when producing a cast product made of such a perforated structure, a material having a lower coefficient of thermal expansion than the cast metal, such as ceramics, is used as the cast material to perform cast casting. In some cases, during cooling after casting, there was a problem in which poor bonding easily occurred between the inner circumferential surface of the cast material (the surface facing the core) and the casting metal.
In other words, when the thermal expansion coefficient of the casting metal is higher than that of the casting material, the difference in thermal expansion coefficient causes a shrinkage difference between the casting material and the metal during cooling after casting. A gap is likely to occur between the inner circumferential surface of the cast material and the cast solidified metal, and this leads to poor bonding there.

Therefore, cast products with such bonding defects will no longer be able to perform their full function as composite materials, and when they are applied to their final uses. This causes problems such as the cast material that should be held integrally falling off.

(Solution Means) Here, the present invention solves the above-mentioned problems, and its feature is that a predetermined casting material is placed around the core in the casting cavity. A porous structure in which the casting material is embedded around a hole formed by the core by casting a predetermined molten metal while the core is placed at a predetermined distance from the core. When manufacturing a cast product consisting of a molded body, at least the portion of the core facing the cast material is subjected to internal cooling based on the solidification and cooling of the molten metal between the cast material and the core. The structure is made of a solid restraining member that restrains contraction in the opposite direction.

(Function) As described above, in the casting method according to the present invention, at least the portion facing the casting material is used as a core that provides the holes of the intended porous structure, and is capable of solidifying the molten metal. Since the core is made of a solid restraining member that restrains the inward contraction of the solidified material as it cools, the contraction and deformation of the metal during cooling after casting is caused by the shrinkage and deformation of the metal during cooling. The material is straightened (restricted) by the solid restraining member part of the child, thereby suppressing the shrinkage of the metal existing on the inside of the cast material, in other words, on the hole side, and tightening the cast material. This allows the state of close contact with the inner circumferential surface to be effectively maintained. After cooling and solidifying, one end of the core is extruded from the obtained cast molded product using a press machine, etc., and the core is released from the mold. A structure is obtained.

(Specific configuration) By the way, in the present invention, a predetermined cast material is placed around the core in the casting cavity.
The casting material is embedded around a hole formed by the core, which is obtained by casting a predetermined molten metal while being placed at a predetermined distance from the core. There are various shapes and structures of cast products with composite structures consisting of perforated structures, and they can be advantageously used as piston head parts of internal combustion engines, etc., depending on the purpose. Therefore, its complex form is determined as appropriate, and an example of its simple form is shown in FIG.

At least the part facing the cast material 6, in other words, in FIG.
The part including at least the part of the core 14 facing the inner circumferential surface of the core 14 is solidified between the molten metal 18 and the core 14, and further the inner part (core 14) is The structure is made of an integral solid restraining member that restrains the shrinkage of the molten metal 18 against the inner circumferential surface of the cast material 6. 8), thereby preventing a gap from forming between them, thereby ensuring close contact with the inner circumferential surface of the cast material 6. Note that, from the viewpoint of ease of manufacturing, the core 14 is generally constructed entirely of a solid restraining member.

By the way, as a solid restraining member constituting a portion of the core 14 that includes at least the portion facing the cast surrounding material 6, the molten metal 18 is generally used as a solid restraining member.
The material is appropriately selected so as to have a coefficient of thermal expansion smaller than that of the cast metal 8 formed by the solidification of the solid restraining member. It is desirable that the coefficient of thermal expansion is about the same as or lower than that of .
By setting the coefficient of thermal expansion of the solid restraining member to the same level or lower as that of the cast material 6, the close contact between the inner circumferential surface of the cast material 6 due to the plastic deformation of the cast metals 8 and 18 is improved. It becomes complete.

In particular, such a solid restraining member is
It is desirable that the material be made of substantially the same material as the material. Here, "substantially the same" means that the main constituent phases are the same and the coefficients of thermal expansion are approximately the same or less. The reason why it is preferable that the material of this solid restraining member is substantially the same as that of the material to be cast 6 is that the coefficient of thermal expansion is approximately the same, and the thermal shock resistance necessary for casting is also considered to be the same. .

By the way, the above-mentioned integral solid restraint member constituting at least a part of the core 14 must have the strength to withstand thermal shock during casting and to support the plastic deformation of the cast metal 8. In this respect, it is desirable that such a solid restraint member be made of ceramics such as silicon nitride, sialon, silicon carbide, mullite, alumina, zirconia, cordierite, etc., and inorganic materials such as quartz glass and crystallized glass. Materials made of such materials are also suitable. Ordinary glass is
Generally, the softening temperature is the casting temperature (molten metal 18
Glass can also be used as long as it has a softening temperature higher than the solidification temperature of the cast metal 8 (molten metal 18). For example, when the molten metal 18 is an Al alloy molten metal, any material can be used as long as it has a higher melting point and a lower coefficient of thermal expansion than the Al alloy molten metal, and metal can be used as the material. In some cases, a material that is difficult to wet with the Al alloy is preferable, and a restraining member made of a clad material with a surface layer made of an Al alloy and Pb, which is hard to wet, can also be used.

Further, since the core 14, at least a part of which is integrally formed with a solid restraining member, needs to be taken out (extracted) from the obtained casting after casting, Second
As shown in the figure, the solid restraining member constituting the core 14 may be formed in a tapered shape, or may be divided into multiple parts in the longitudinal direction, or a solid lubricating member may be present on its surface, or may be coated with a solid lubricating member. By doing so, the releasability of the core 14 can be improved.

In addition, when an Al alloy is used as the cast metal 8, metals that are difficult to seize with this Al alloy include, for example, Cd, In, Tl, Pb, and Bi.
The mold releasability is improved by forming the solid restraint member using these metals or by forming the solid restraint member using an alloy containing these metal components. Among these, Pb is a preferred metal because it is easy to handle. Furthermore, by containing a solid lubricant such as MoO 3 , MoS 2 , CuF 2 , LiF, etc. in the solid restraining member, the mold release property can be further improved.
