Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve strength and to prevent leakage from bonded parts between the adjoining mats by using a thin stainless steel sheet as impermeable layer and by engaging together with the edges of the adjoining mats. CONSTITUTION:A water-shielding mat is formed of a sand mat 1, made from synthetic resin fiber, and a thin stainless steel sheet 2, both of which are integrally stuck together with adhesive of chloroprene or the like. The opposite ends of the stainless steel sheet 2 are protruding a little from the edges of the sand mat 1. One end of the stainless steel sheet is bent toward the side of the sand mat 1, forming an engaging piece 21, and the other and is bent toward the opposite side of the sand mat 1, forming an engaging piece 22. By engaging these engaging pieces 21 and 22 of the adjoining water-shielding mats, and by applying adhesive as the occasion demands, the adjoining mats are bonded together.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) A water-blocking mat that has a vinyl chloride sheet on one side and a sand mat as a cushioning material on the other side is used when carrying out the various types of water leakage prevention work mentioned above. Concrete blocks, etc. are arranged on this water-blocking mat.For this reason, if there are rocks, pebbles, etc. on the ground where water leakage prevention work is to be performed and there are uneven surfaces, these protrusions may However, there is a drawback that the sheet breaks during or after construction, reducing the water leakage prevention effect.

In addition, waterproof mats of the required width are stacked on top of each other with their edges stacked one on top of the other, and the overlapped areas are glued together to prevent water from leaking in this overlapped area. There are drawbacks such as water leakage from the bonded portion or displacement of the joint portion when tensile force is applied due to an earthquake or the like.

(Means for solving the problem) A thin stainless steel plate is pasted on one side of a sand mat that has a cushioning effect and is made by intertwining and bonding synthetic resin fibers together to form a plate-like nonwoven fabric of a required thickness to form a water-blocking unit. While forming a mat, one end of this stainless steel plate is made to protrude from the edge of the sand mat and is folded toward the sand mat side, and the other end is folded back at the edge of the sand mat toward the side opposite to the sand mat, and the water-blocking mats that are adjacent to each other are formed. The folded parts of the stainless steel plates at the ends are locked together, and the waterproof mats are successively joined and laid, and a concrete block, etc. is placed on top of this mat, and the folded joint parts of the stainless steel plates are glued. It is also possible to do so.

At the end of the sand mat serving as a cushioning material, an adjacent water-shielding mat is laid so that the folded portions of the thin stainless steel plates adhered to the sand mat are locked and joined to each other. As a result, it has excellent corrosion resistance, and its tensile strength is approximately 40 times stronger per kgf/am2 compared to vinyl chloride sheets, and it will not break even if there are hard protrusions such as stones on the ground, preventing water leakage. The effect will improve. Furthermore, since the joint of the folded part at the edge of the mat is integrated, it can withstand tensile force up to the shear stress of the stainless steel plate, increasing the strength compared to adhesive methods, ensuring reliable construction, and improving accuracy and durability to prevent water leakage. improves.

In the figure, 1 is a sand mat that serves as a cushioning material for the waterproof mat of the present invention.
For example, synthetic resin fibers are loosely intertwined with each other and integrated with a bridge material to form a plate-like nonwoven fabric of a desired thickness. In this case, since the tensile strength of the stainless steel plate used as a water-shielding material is increased, its thickness can be made thinner than conventional products.

According to the present invention, a thin stainless steel plate is attached to one side of a sand mat having a 111 action, which is made by intertwining and bonding synthetic resin fibers to form a plate-like nonwoven fabric of a required thickness, thereby forming a water-blocking mat as one body. At the same time, one end of this stainless steel plate is made to protrude from the edge of the sand mat and is folded back toward the sand mat side, and the other end is folded back to the side opposite to the sand mat at the edge of the sand mat, and the stainless steel plates are folded back at the ends of the water-blocking mats adjacent to each other. The parts are locked together, and the water-blocking mats are laid one after another, and concrete blocks, etc. are placed on top of the mats, so the joints between adjacent water-blocking mats are strong. This can be done reliably and completely prevent water leakage. In addition, the joints do not come apart even during earthquakes, so it has a stable effect over a long period of time, and has the advantages of easy construction and improved accuracy.
