手段と、車速を示す車速信号を出力する手段と、
変速マツプデータに基づき少なくとも前記アクセ
ル信号及び前記車速信号に従つて目標ギヤ位置を
決定する決定手段とを有し該決定手段に応答し変
速機のギヤを前記目標ギヤ位置へ自動的にシフト
するようにした自動変速機用の表示装置において
、前記アクセル信号に応答しその時のアクセル操
作量に基づいた仮アクセル操作量を設定するため
の手段と、該仮アクセル操作量と前記車速信号と
に応答し前記変速マツプデータに基づき仮目標ギ
ヤ位置を計算する計算手段と、該仮目標ギヤ位置
と前記目標ギヤ位置とに基づきギヤシフトの可否
を判別する判別手段と、該判別手段に応答しギヤ
シフトの可否に関する表示を行なう表示手段とを
備えて成ることを特徴とする自動変速機用表示装
