Claims (1)
該載置台上に重ねて載置された複数枚の原稿から
一枚を抽出して供給方向に繰り出す原稿抽出手段
;該原稿抽出手段により抽出された原稿を原稿読
取り位置に搬送する搬送手段;および、原稿抽出
手段および搬送手段を駆動する駆動制御手段;を
備える原稿供給装置において: 前記原稿抽出手段は、抽出する原稿の少なくと
も一部に接し、それに供給方向の搬送力を与える
給紙部材;該給紙部材に対向して備わり、該給紙
部材より与えられた供給方向の搬送力により移動
する原稿の少なくとも一部にその移動を阻止する
ための阻止部材;および、該阻止部材と給紙部材
との間の接触圧を少なくとも2段階に切換え設定
する接触圧切換手段;を備え、 前記駆動制御手段は、前記給紙部材を駆動して
抽出する原稿に供給方向の搬送力を与えている間
の少なくとも一時期に前記接触圧切換手段に高い
接触圧の設定を指示することを特徴とする、原稿
