A brush cutter used for mowing weeds, lawns, vines, etc. is: (i) For example, as shown in Figure 1, the brush cutter is installed in front of engine E (in Figure 1, the left side is the front and the right side is the rear). A transmission shaft 1 is rotatably supported inside a clutch case C connected to the clutch case C via a bearing (not shown), and the transmission shaft 1 is sequentially attached to a stopper 3 fixed in the middle of an outer tube 2 covering the transmission shaft 1. , while the shoulder strap 7 is connected through the connecting fittings 4, 5, and 6 in a loose state, a handle H having a throttle lever 8 and a stop lever 9 attached to the front of the stoppering fitting 3 is attached to the outer peripheral edge of the outer tube 2. The cutting blade 10 is rotatably mounted on the lower end of a gear housing G that accommodates a gear group (not shown) that can be attached and set at the front end of the gear housing G.

In case (i) of the methods described in the prior art section, when cutting grass, a worker (not shown) hangs the shoulder strap 7 over his shoulder, grasps the handle 7, and then turns on the engine. When engine E starts, vibrations, shocks, etc. generated by this engine E are not completely absorbed by the vibration isolating material inside the clutch case C, and some of them propagate to the outer tube 2, causing the vibrations and shocks generated by the engine E to be transmitted to the outer tube 2. The vibrations and shocks are transmitted to the shoulder strap 7 through the metal fittings 4, 5, and 6 connected to the metal fittings 3, so that the vibrations and shocks from the shoulders are applied to the entire body of the worker during mowing work. In addition to the noise generated by the engine E, since the stopper 3 is fixed to the outer pipe 2, extra force is required to position the brush cutter in a position that matches the object to be cut, leading to early physical fatigue. As a result, it is virtually impossible to work for a long time, and there are concerns regarding the health management of workers.

Since the heat is transmitted to the shoulder strap through the air, there is a problem in that, as in case (i), it causes early fatigue of the worker.

This greatly reduces the propagation of vibrations and shocks generated by the engine to the worker, and prevents early fatigue of the worker by forming a rotatable suspension part between the outer pipe and the connecting fitting. In addition, it is an object of the present invention to provide a hanging device for a brush cutter that does not make the structure unnecessarily complicated.

In order to achieve the above object, the brush cutter suspension device of this invention has a vibration isolator fixed to an outer tube having an engine at one end and a cutting blade at the other end, and is mounted through the vibration isolator. In a brush cutter in which an outer pipe is suspended by a shoulder strap, a substantially annular stopper is fixed to the outer pipe, and a substantially annular stopper is fitted to the outer pipe, and is provided along both sides of the stopper in the circumferential direction. a support body having a recess formed therein; a suspension ring connected to an upper end at a horizontal portion and having a curved portion formed below the support body rotatably fitted in the recess; and a suspension ring that can be engaged with and detached from the horizontal portion. It consists of a shoulder strap and a connecting fitting.

Examples will be described below with reference to FIGS. 2 to 5. First, in FIGS. 2 to 4 of the first embodiment, a cross section is shown in which the outer tube 21 is in close contact with the outer peripheral edge of the outer tube 21 that covers a transmission shaft (none of which is shown) driven by an engine, and the lower end portion t is open. The front and back of the magnifying glass-shaped stopper 22 (in Fig. 2, the left side is the front and the right side is the rear) are made of a rubber-like material with a highly elastic vibration-proofing function, and the outside of the outer tube 21 is A pair of support bodies 23, 23 fitted loosely or closely together are installed along the peripheral edge, and a curved suspension ring 24 is placed in a recess a having a U-shaped cross section formed at the center of the outer peripheral edge of these support bodies 23, 23. The part d is rotatably fitted, and the lower end of a ring-like connecting fitting 25 is loosely inserted into the horizontal part e at the upper end of the hanging ring 24, and the lower end is inserted into the upper end of the connecting fitting 25. The lower end of the shoulder band B is loosely inserted into the annular connecting fitting 26. The set position of the stopper 22 on the outer tube 21 can be maintained by tightening the end portion t of the stopper 22 with a fastener j such as a bolt or nut.

Although this embodiment differs from the first embodiment in that a single support body 33 and a suspension ring 34 are combined, the other points are the same, so a description thereof will be omitted.

Since this idea has the above-mentioned configuration, the first
In the embodiment, a worker with a shoulder band hung over his shoulder grips a handle, starts an engine, and performs cutting work with a cutting blade. Thus, the substantially annular portion of the hanging ring is rotatably fitted into the recess of the support provided along the stopper fastened to the outer pipe, and the horizontal portion of the hanging ring is connected detachably. Since the shoulder strap is attached via the metal fittings, (i) slipping between the outer tube and the stopper is reliably prevented, and the work can be carried out safely without fear of the stopper fitting loosening unexpectedly; .

Since the outer pipe is rotatable relative to the hanging ring, it is possible to adjust the working position of the brush cutter as appropriate for tasks such as mowing or cutting weeds and branches of trees on slopes. At the same time, the vibrations and shocks of the outer tube are absorbed by the support as mentioned above, so there is no risk of the suspension ring swinging unnecessarily, so the worker can use the shoulder strap in a comfortable position. Since the brush cutter can be held, there is no possibility of early fatigue during work.

Similarly, vibrations and shocks in the outer tube are absorbed by the support and are not propagated to the hanging ring or shoulder band, so that the worker does not become fatigued early during work.
