により前記光入射窓から入射する赤外線光束をそ
の変動量に応じた電気信号に変換するようになつ
た赤外線検出器を備えた赤外線検出装置において
、前記赤外線検出器が、前記ケース体の構成素材
とは異なる素材により開口部を有する形状となつ
た保護体で被覆され、且つ前記開口部が前記光入
射窓に対向され、該開口部に封着された前記光学
フイルタが、これのフイルタ面と前記赤外線検出
素子との間隔が2mm以上となるよう位置されてな
ることを特徴とする赤外線検出装置。 (2) 前記保護体が、高分子素材により筒状に構
成されて前記ケース体に外嵌されたことを特徴と
する請求項(1)に記載の赤外線検出装置。 (3) 前記ケース体が金属である場合に、前記保
護体が電気絶縁性素材により構成されたことを特
徴とする請求項(1)に記載の赤外線検出装置。 (4) 前記ケース体が合成樹脂である場合に、前
記保護体が難燃性素材または不燃性素材により構
成されたことを特徴とする請求項(1)に記載の赤
外線検出装置。
