[Detailed description of the invention] [Industrial application field] The present invention places a cylindrical body above the burner to form a combustion gas ascending flow path, and a water pipe through which water to be heated passes through the cylindrical body. The present invention relates to an instantaneous water heater in which a finned water pipe attached to the water pipe and connected to the water pipe is arranged in the combustion gas upward flow path.

Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 2, water is sent from a water pipe 4b attached to a cylindrical body 2 to a water pipe 4c with fins, and the flame of the burner 1 and the combustion gas in the ascending flow path 3 cause water to flow inside the water pipes 4b and 4c. It was configured to heat water.

The characteristic configuration of the present invention is that a power supply device is provided to provide a potential difference of 3KV or more between a cylindrical body that forms a combustion gas upward flow path and is attached with a water pipe, and a burner placed at the bottom of the cylindrical body. The functions and effects are as follows.

In other words, in a water heater where the flame of the burner and the cylindrical body are almost parallel when there is no power supply, (a) when the positive electrode of the DC power source is connected to the burner and the cylindrical body is grounded, (b) ) When the negative electrode of the DC power source is connected to the burner and the cylindrical body is grounded, (c) When the AC power source is connected to the burner and the cylindrical body is grounded, The state of heat transfer was investigated by applying a potential difference between the two.

As a result, in either case, if a potential difference of 3KV or more is applied, the burner flame that is close to the inner surface of the cylindrical body will be drawn toward the cylindrical body, causing the flame and combustion gas to interact with the cylindrical body. It was confirmed that the heat transfer efficiency between the solid body and the solid body was significantly improved.

By the way, when we installed a heat transfer amount measurement sensor in the cylindrical body at a position corresponding to the tip of the flame and measured the amount of heat transfer, we found that compared to the case without a power supply device,
Approximately 70 times in case of above B, approximately 23 times in case of above B
The amount of heat transfer has increased by a large amount, almost twice as much.
