Claims

[Claims for Utility Model Registration] A first device having a first head section, a first drive positioning section, a first rotation section and a first control section; a second head section and a second drive section; a second device having a positioning section, a second rotation section, and a second control section; and the first rotation section rotates a floppy disk recording medium mounted on the first device at a predetermined rotation speed. The first head section writes or reads data on the floppy disk recording medium, the first driving positioning section drives and positions the first head section at equal intervals, and the first head section writes or reads data on the floppy disk recording medium. The first control section controls the head section, the first drive positioning section, and the first rotation section to output servo data in pulse units on equidistant tracks of the floppy disk recording medium. The pulse interval is arbitrarily changed and written, and after the servo data has been written in the first device, the second rotating section writes the floppy disk recording medium loaded in the second device. The floppy disk is rotated at a predetermined number of rotations, the second head section writes or reads data on the floppy disk recording medium, and the second drive positioning section follows the servo data of the second head section. The second head section, the second drive positioning section, and the second rotating section are controlled by the second control section to record the servo data on the floppy disk recording medium. A floppy disk formatting device characterized in that the floppy disk formatting device writes data in the same plane as the servo data alternately or in units of work data pulses while arbitrarily changing the intervals between the pulses.
