Claims (1)
- 左右の各バンクにそれぞれ４個、全体で８個設
けられたシリンダと、排気期間が離れていて排気
干渉が殆ど生じない２個のシリンダの排気ポート
をまとめて１本の排気管に接続することにより、
エンジンの左右各バンクにおいてそれぞれ２本づ
つ設けられた排気管と、前記排気管の途中にそれ
ぞれ設けられた触媒変換器と、前記触媒変換器の
上流側及び下流側において前記２本の排気管の間
を連通するように設けられた連通管と、前記連通
管に設けられてその流路を遮断し得る制御弁と、
同じく前記連通管に設けられたＯ２センサと、前
記制御弁を開閉させる制御装置とを備えているこ
とを特徴とするＶ８エンジンの排気浄化装置。
