ング装置で使用されるラツク軸のストローク量を
規定すべく、ラツク軸とタイロツドとを連結する
ボール継手のソケツト端部とラツク軸端部とに跨
がつて嵌着された環状ロツクプレートの小径部に
外嵌装着される環状スペーサーにおいて、 金属環と、その金属環の内側の装着部とを有し
、該装着部が、金属環の内側をその径方向内方へ
突出する薄肉弾性の突出片を有し、この突出片の
先端付近の肉厚がその根元付近の肉厚より大きく
なつており、該突出片が折曲された状態で環状ロ
ツクプレートの外周面に外嵌装着されて、折曲さ
れた突出片を介して該外周面に対向する環状スペ
ーサー部分との間に圧縮状態で挟み込まれる構成
になつていることを特徴とする環状スペーサー。 (2) 自動車のラツクアンドピニオン式ステアリ
ング装置で使用されるラツク軸のストローク量を
規定すべく、ラツク軸とタイロツドとを連結する
ボール継手のソケツト端部とラツク軸端部とに跨
がつて装着された環状ロツクプレートの小径部に
外嵌装着される環状スペーサーにおいて、 金属環と、その金属環の内側の装着部とを有し
、該装着部が、金属環の内側をその径方向内方へ
突出する薄肉弾性の突出片を有し、該突出片が折
曲された状態で環状ロツクプレートの外周面に外
嵌装着されて、折曲された突出片を介して該外周
面に対向する環状スペーサー部分との間に圧縮状
態で挟み込まれる構成になつており、また、該環
状スペーサー部分の、折曲された突出片の先端付
近に位置する部分の内径が、その環状スペーサー
部分の、折曲された突出片の根元付近に位置する
部分の内径より小さくなつていることを特徴とす
る環状スペーサー。 (3) 請求項第2項に記載の環状スペーサーにお
いて、前記突出片の先端付近の肉厚がその根元付
近の肉厚より大きくなつていることを特徴とする
