    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 表面に反射部と遮光部を一定間隔で繰返してな
    る検出パターンが形成され移動体に配設されるガ
    ラススケールと、このガラススケールの検出パタ
    ーンに検出光を照射してその反射光を受光する反
    射型光センサと、上記検出パターンに対応した間
    隔で透光部と遮光部が繰り返し形成され上記反射
    型光センサと上記ガラススケールの間に配設され
    たスリツトマスクからなる位置検出装置において
    、上記スリツトマスクには、上記反射型光センサ
    から検出パターンに向けて出力された検出光を全
    量透過する透過部が形成されたことを特徴とする
    位置検出装置。
