発熱焼損を招く欠点があつた。 In the head shift mechanism of a tape player,
The mechanism that moves the head forward from the stop position to the playback position by driving a solenoid will not be able to hold the head in the playback position if any malfunction occurs in the mechanism that holds the head in the playback position. . At this time, the tape end detection section, which conventionally detects when the rotation of the reel base has stopped, indicates that the mechanism is not being played back, that is, the head section cannot be held at the playback position and the tape cannot run. This tape end detection section sends a command signal to the solenoid drive circuit again to drive the head shift solenoid. Even after this, if the head is not held at the playback position, a head shift signal will be issued again from the tape end detector, and the solenoid will be driven continuously unless an eject operation is performed or the power is turned off. As a result, current is passed through the solenoid continuously for a long time, resulting in heat generation and burnout of the solenoid.

If there is no input signal from , it is determined that the tape has stopped, and an output signal is sent to the logical OR circuit 5 at the next stage. The logical OR circuit 5 is further connected to a channel changeover switch 6 and a power supply voltage rise detection section 7. The power supply voltage rise detection section 7 detects the rise of the power supply voltage and sends a signal when the tape player is powered on. The logic OR circuit 5 is connected to a solenoid drive signal generation section 8 provided at the next stage, and the solenoid drive signal generation section 8 is connected to a solenoid drive section 9 and the head shift (forward)/channel switching driven by the solenoid drive section 9. It is connected to the shared solenoid 10. The solenoid 10 is mechanically configured for channel switching operations when the heads are in the play position and for head shifting when the heads are not in the play position.

That is, the counting section 3 counts the solenoid drive signals sent from the solenoid drive signal generating section 8, and when a predetermined set number of times is reached, the head shift stop section 1 provided at the next stage of the counting section 3 is activated.
At the same time as the count end signal is sent to the counter 1, the counting section 3 becomes the initial state. Further, the counting section 3 is also set to the initial state by a reset signal sent from the rotation signal generating section 2. The head shift stop section 11 is a driving means for an eject mechanism for ejecting a cassette pack from the tape player in the case of an auto-eject type tape player, and is a power source for the tape player in the case of other types of tape players. This is for controlling the operation stop of the cutting means or mechanism.

The unit 8 is operated and the signal is sent to the counting unit 3 and the solenoid drive unit 9, thereby driving the solenoid 10.
Since the tape player was stopped at this time, the head was not in the playback position, so the solenoid 10 acted as a head shifter. At this point, the head is at the playback position, and like the head, when the tape drive system enters the playback state, the tape runs and the reel base 1 rotates, so the count section 3 is reset by a signal from the rotation signal generator 2.

Then, the running stop detection section 4 detects this and sends a signal to the solenoid drive signal section 8 via the OR circuit 5, and the signal is again sent from the solenoid drive signal section 8 to the count section 3 and the solenoid drive section 9. , the head shift solenoid 10 is activated. If the head is still not held in the reproducing state, the above operation is repeated, and the counting section 3 counts the number of times this operation is performed. When the set count is reached, the count section 3 sends a count end signal to the head shift stop section 1.
1. By this signal, the stop section 11
Now, if the mechanism is capable of auto-ejecting, it will auto-eject, eject the cassette pack, and stop the tape player, and if it is not possible, the solenoid 10 will control the mechanism to stop its operation, etc. Prevent it from being driven more than that. Furthermore, in the case of an operation such as auto-eject, the solenoid 10 is used for channel switching or auto-eject, and performs the same operation as described above.

This has the effect of preventing problems such as burnout due to heat generation.

It detects this and drives a solenoid to change the direction of travel. Therefore, there is not only a malfunction in the head shift, but also a malfunction in the mechanism that switches the running direction at the end of the tape, and no matter how many times the solenoid is driven, the running direction cannot be switched.
Even when the tape does not start running, the driving of the solenoid is similarly stopped after a certain number of cycles, which also has the effect of protecting the solenoid.
