図面は本考案の実施例を示すもので、第１図は
本実施例に係る多気筒エンジンのオイル消費低減
装置が装備されたエンジンを構成するシリンダブ
ロツクの全体概略平面図、第２図はシリンダブロ
ツクの要部拡大断面図、第３図は連通路付近を拡
大して示すシリンダブロツクの部分拡大断面図、
第４図は本実施例に係るオイル消費低減装置が装
備されたエンジンにおける任意のピストンの作動
に伴う燃焼室内の圧力変化および該ピストンにお
けるトツプリングとセカンドリングとこれら両リ
ング間のピストン外周面およびシリンダ内周面と
により形成される空間内の圧力変化を示すグラフ
である。 ５，５１〜５４……ピストン、７……トツプリ
ング、８……セカンドリング、１２……連通路、
１３……空間。
本実施例に係る多気筒エンジンのオイル消費低減
装置が装備されたエンジンを構成するシリンダブ

Claims (1)
- 同一クランク角度で往復動する複数のピストン
を有する多気筒４サイクルエンジンのオイル消費
低減装置であつて、上記複数のピストンのうち膨
張工程にあるピストンと吸気工程にあるピストン
とが下死点もしくは下死点近傍の所定位置に達し
たときに、該各ピストンにおけるトツプリングと
セカンドリングとこれら両リング間のピストン外
周面およびシリンダ内周面とにより形成される空
間を互いに連通させる連通路が設けられているこ
とを特徴とする多気筒エンジンのオイル消費低減
装置。
