A matrix-like groove is prepared in advance on one side of the piezoelectric vibrator plate, the groove is filled with a filler such as a conductive material or an electrically insulating material, and a common electrode is formed on the piezoelectric vibrator plate and the filler. Then, on top of that, one or more layers of acoustic matching layer material are attached, leaving some of the filling on the common electrode side! By completely dividing the piezoelectric vibrator plate along the matrix-shaped grooves, it is easy to take out the electrical terminal of the common electrode from each piezoelectric vibrator located inside the matrix-shaped division, and the acoustic cross The object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing an ultrasonic probe that generates little talk and is not affected by externally induced noise.

For example, in the case of an ultrasound probe for a medical ultrasound diagnostic device, the acoustic matching layer has a thickness of 2 m.
A structure in which an acoustic matching layer is provided is preferable, and a material such as fused silica glass can be used as the first matching layer 10a, and a material such as epoxy or resin can be used as the second matching layer 10b.

As a result, the piezoelectric vibrator plate 1 is completely cut into a matrix shape with the grounding electrode 3 of the piezoelectric vibrator plate 1 formed. Can be divided. Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 3d, the electrode 2 portion of each piezoelectric vibrator and the wiring pattern 4, which is preformed on the substrate 14, for example, ferrite rubber used as a backing material, are connected by soldering, etc. The electrical terminals are connected by the bonding material 13 and taken out to the outside. After that, the two-dimensionally arranged ultrasonic transducer section obtained in this way is placed in a suitable case (not shown), and a cable connecting to the main device is attached to complete the ultrasonic probe. It is. Note that the electrode 2 may be formed at the same time as the step of forming the electrode 3 shown in FIG.

A common electrode is formed on this piezoelectric vibrator plate via a filling material, and a button acoustic matching layer is further formed on top of the common electrode, and an acoustic matching layer is formed on one side with a part of the filling material formed on the common electrode side remaining. The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an ultrasonic probe in which only a piezoelectric vibrator plate is completely cut and divided along matrix grooves from the opposite side of a formed piezoelectric vibrator plate. For example, a piezoelectric vibrator plate can be completely cut and divided with some filler left behind, which can significantly reduce acoustic losstalk. Filling is provided in a part of the groove to the extent that it does not affect acoustic crosstalk, so it is easy to take out the electrical terminal of the common electrode from each piezoelectric vibrator located inside the cut and divided matrix. , it is possible to arbitrarily drive a desired area of a two-dimensional array of ultrasound transducers to transmit and receive ultrasound beams, and to obtain a three-dimensional image with high resolution.
