(Prior art) Examples of conventional tunnel furnaces are shown in Figures 3 and 4.
As shown in Figures and Figure 5, ceilings are made of heavy refractory bricks in an arch shape and fixed with fireproof mortar, suspended ceilings are made of irregularly shaped refractory bricks, etc. suspended from numerous hanging devices, and ceilings are constructed using a large number of anchors. There were structures in which the metal fittings were embedded in castable refractories and the anchors were welded to the metal structure to support the metal structure with supporting materials, and structures in which fire-resistant fiber material was attached to the frame with fire-resistant studs.

However, in order to assemble the ceiling with firebricks in an arch shape, a large number of irregularly shaped bricks are required, and an arch-shaped construction mold is required during construction, which requires construction costs, labor, and construction time. The constructed tunnel furnace is not something that has to be rebuilt every time it is operated, but rather continues to be used as long as there is no major damage. In addition, in the case of suspended ceilings that are suspended using hanging tools, the utmost care is taken to minimize deviations in the dimensions of the suspended structural members, so the suspended ceiling section must be moved frequently. That hasn't been thought of at all. For this reason, it is assumed that once a tunnel furnace of this type is constructed, it will continue to be used as long as there is no damage. The same goes for those constructed with castable refractories; once constructed, no consideration has been given to changing the size of the furnace to suit the operating conditions of the furnace.

Although tunnel furnaces constructed from these factors are durable, they require a large number of construction jigs and a large number of construction materials such as anchors and studs, which increases construction costs. Ta.

Furthermore, the ceiling structure is more susceptible to damage than other parts because it is exposed to high-temperature atmospheres, and soot deposits from gases generated from fuel and products adheres to the ceiling and sometimes falls onto the product. It also caused adhesion and resulted in defective products.

Furthermore, in a tunnel furnace, a trolley loaded with products moves from one entrance to the other exit, but if the product falls over during firing, the trolley may get stuck and stop moving. In the event of such an accident, operations must be stopped and the carts and products stuck inside the furnace must be removed from the furnace, but in conventional tunnel furnaces, the inside of the furnace is first cooled, and then the products and carts are removed. I had no choice but to remove it manually. Furthermore, it is difficult to know where in the tunnel furnace an accident has occurred unless one is skilled. Furthermore, in the event of such an accident, unless the inside of the reactor is rapidly cooled and the accident is dealt with, production will be stalled for a long period of time.

(Problems to be solved by the invention) The present invention eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks and uses recently developed refractory fiber materials for tunnel furnaces with good insulation properties. It is possible to easily replace parts of the ceiling structure to which objects tend to adhere, and in the event of an accident during operation, it is easy to find the point where the accident occurred, so the cause of the accident can be removed early, and the construction The aim is to obtain something inexpensive.

(Function) The tunnel furnace of the present invention includes refractory rod-shaped supports arranged in rows and passed between the tops of opposing side walls of the tunnel furnace.
Since it is essential that the ceiling structure of the tunnel furnace is placed on the fire-resistant rod-shaped support material, it is easy to replace the ceiling structure, which is more easily damaged than other parts and is more likely to attract soot. In addition, in the event of an accident during operation, the location of the accident can be easily found, making it possible to eliminate the cause of the accident at an early stage. Moreover, construction costs are low, and fire-resistant rod-shaped supports are used. It is easy to construct and have accurate dimensions.

Using a recessed part in the lower surface of the ceiling structure where the fire-resistant rod-shaped support material is located,
When the refractory rod-shaped support material is fitted into the recess, there is no longer a protruding part on the ceiling of the furnace.
A recess is provided at the top of the side wall to prevent turbulence of the combustion air flow in the furnace and to fit the refractory rod-shaped support material.
Heat loss can be reduced by providing a stepped portion at the top of the side wall so that the end of the fire-resistant rod-shaped support does not touch the side wall.

Recesses are provided at 100 mm intervals on the top of the side walls on both sides of a mm tunnel furnace, and a mullite rod with a diameter of 25 mm and a length of 1700 mm is fitted into the recesses as a refractory rod support material at the position where the refractory rod support material is fitted. A ceiling structure made of a ceramic board with grooves and a heat-insulating fire-resistant fiber covering the outside was placed on this fire-resistant rod-shaped support.

When the tunnel furnace constructed in this way was operated, it was able to operate with good thermal efficiency, and after about a year, the operation was temporarily stopped, and when the ceiling structure was removed and the interior was inspected, volatile sublimation from the fired product was found on the ceiling of the furnace. There was a soot-like substance that seemed to have deposited on it, so after removing it, the ceiling structure was placed on fire-resistant rod-shaped supports again and operation was resumed. We were able to.

Although there were no accidents during operation of the tunnel furnace in this example, when the operation was temporarily stopped, the operation of removing the ceiling structure was the same as the operation at the time of the accident, so even in the case of an accident, the cause of the accident should be immediately investigated. This means that it can be removed.
