[Conventional technology and its drawbacks] Conventionally, when replacing transformers and arms of utility poles, or performing maintenance inspections on them, the insulation coating of insulated wires has been removed using a wire stripper or the like to prevent danger. Strip the width to expose the core wire, attach an earth hook here to ground it, completely attach the protective equipment before starting work, remove the protective equipment and the earth hook after completing the work, and connect the exposed core wire as described above. Wrap insulating tape around it. However, winding, or taping, such insulating tape is time-consuming and has poor workability.Furthermore, the adhesive strength of the taped tape decreases over time, causing it to peel off, allowing rainwater to enter and damage the core wire. The drawback was that it corroded and damaged the wires, and eventually caused wire breakage.

For this reason, the present applicant proposes a repair cover that does not require taping with insulating tape, is easy to handle and can be installed with a single touch, and can further seal the peeled part of the insulation coating in a watertight manner. On September 8, 1981, he filed an application for ``Electric Wire Sheathing Repair Cover'' (Utility Model Application No. 1983-39822). The structure is cylindrical, and the cover body is made of synthetic resin and the inner diameter approximately matches the outer diameter of the insulated wire. A notch is provided in the longitudinal direction of the cover body to allow expansion. The engaging protrusions bent in the shape of a hand are provided opposite each other, and furthermore, a stepped portion that engages with each other is formed at the tip of the engaging protrusion, and the inner surface of the cover body is provided with an insulating coating in the longitudinal center portion. Protrusions of a required length and approximately the same height as the thickness of the insulation coating of the electric wire are provided so as to face each other, and a portion having a diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the insulation coating electric wire is provided from the outside in the longitudinal direction to the tip of each of the protrusions, It is formed by continuously providing a large diameter portion and a small diameter portion each having a required width.

点がある。
As mentioned above, this "Wire Insulation Cover Repair Cover" does not require taping and can be easily installed with one touch.
It has the advantage of being able to seal the peeled portion of the insulation coating in a watertight manner. However, on the other hand, since both end faces of the repair cover are formed as flat surfaces with no irregularities from the upper end to the lower end, there is no resting part on the end faces. For this reason, when the repair cover is removed, both engaging protrusions and the stepped portion are tightly engaged and difficult to separate, making it difficult to widen the cut and making it difficult to remove the repair cover easily. In particular, since the engaging protrusions are tightly engaged with corresponding step portions provided at the respective tips, it is difficult to remove them, and it is dangerous to work at high places. Further, on the inner surface of the cover main body, in the longitudinal direction of the central part, protrusions are provided so as to face each other and have approximately the same height and length as the insulation coating thickness of the insulated wire. It exists in the recess where it has been peeled off and functions as a stopper. However, since two protrusions are provided facing each other on the inner side surface of the cover main body, it takes time and effort to position both protrusions so that they fit into the recesses, and the manufacturing process is also complicated. . Further, from the outside in the longitudinal direction to the tip of the protrusion, a portion with a diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the insulated wire, a portion with a larger diameter, and a portion with a smaller diameter are continuously provided with a required width, respectively. Since the small-diameter portion and the electric wire are watertight, rainwater can be prevented from entering. However, on the other hand, if the inner diameter of the cover body is made larger than the outer diameter of the insulated wire, an extra gap will be created between the inner side of the cover body and the inner side of the cover body. There are problems in that the wide widths must be continuously molded alternately, resulting in a lot of structural waste and high manufacturing costs.

Therefore, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a repair cover for electric wire insulation coating that solves all of the above-mentioned defects. A cut-out portion is provided, and a protrusion having a height approximately equal to the insulation coating thickness of the insulated wire and a required length is provided in the longitudinal direction of the central portion on the upper inner surface of the cover main body. The wire is formed by circumferentially forming a plurality of small-diameter portions having a diameter that is large enough to bite into the insulation coating of the insulated wire from the outside in the longitudinal direction to the tip of each wire at appropriate intervals in the form of a narrow band.

Since there is no part with a diameter larger than the diameter of the insulated wire on the inside of the cover body across the recess, there is no unnecessary gap between the cover and the wire. Therefore, simply by providing a plurality of narrow small diameter parts, the small diameter parts and the electric wire can be kept watertight, and the structure is simple and the inside of the cover can be made watertight efficiently.

[Examples] Examples of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
In the figure, 1 indicates that the inner diameter d is the outer diameter D of the insulated wire A.
It is a cover body made of synthetic resin and has a cylindrical shape and has a required length, which approximately matches the length of the cover body, and a linear cut 2 is provided in the longitudinal direction of the cover body 1 to divide the cover body 1 so as to be expandable. Engagement protrusions 3a and 3b bent in the shape of hooks are provided oppositely along the outer edge of the holder, and step portions 4a and 4b that engage with each other are provided at the tip portions of the engagement protrusions 3a and 3b. It has been formed. The engaging protrusions 3a, 3b bent into the shape of a hand and the step portions 4a, 4b at the tip are inclined inward at both ends in the longitudinal direction to provide cutout portions 5, 5.

The inner surface of the cover main body 1 is provided with only one protrusion 6 having a required length and having a height approximately equal to the thickness of the insulation coating B of the insulated wire A at the upper center in the longitudinal direction. A small diameter portion 7 having a diameter d1 that bites into the insulation coating B of the insulation coated wire A is provided around the protrusion 6 from the outside in the longitudinal direction to the tip thereof in a band shape having a required width. Although one small diameter portion 7 may be provided on each side of the protrusion 6, it is more convenient to provide a plurality of small diameter portions 7 as shown in FIG. 3, as watertightness can be better achieved during use. In addition, the engaging protrusion 3
A concave groove 8 is formed between the tips of the protrusions 3a and 3b so that the engagement protrusions 3a and 3b can be easily removed when they are fitted together.

Next, the operation of the electric wire insulation coating repair cover of the present invention formed in this manner will be explained. As shown in FIG. 4, the insulation coating B of the insulated wire A is stripped off over a required width to expose the core wire C.
The cover main body 1 is positioned so that the protrusion 6 is in contact with the outer periphery of the exposed core wire C, and the engagement protrusions 3a, 3
b are opened outward from each other to open the notch 2,
The opening is placed over the insulated wire A. Then, by pressing the engaging protrusions 3a and 3b inwardly, the protrusion 6 comes into contact with the outer periphery of the exposed core wire C, and both ends of the protrusion 6 in the longitudinal direction are blocked by the end face of the insulation coating B, so that the protrusion 6 does not move. In addition to being fixed, a small diameter portion 7 provided inside the cover body 1 with a diameter d1 that is large enough to bite into the insulation coating B at the left and right positions of the exposed core wire C is connected to the insulation coating B.
It can be installed in close contact with the body to maintain watertightness.
In addition, since the protrusion 6 contacts the core wire C at the recess where the insulation coating B is peeled off, and the protrusion 6 has a required length, the repair cover is fixed in the mounting position. Even if an external impact or load is applied to the cover body 1, the position will not shift, and even if the cover body 1 moves, the tip of the protrusion 6 will hit the end face of the insulation coating B and it will not move any further. The core wire C can be reliably kept covered without any damage.

When removing the attached repair cover, the engaging protrusions 3a, 3b are twisted by the cutouts 5, 5 provided at both ends of the longitudinal direction of the engaging protrusions 3a, 3b in an inwardly inclined shape. It is possible to easily add the following, disengage the engagement protrusions 3a and 3b, widen the notch 2, and easily remove the engagement protrusion 3a, 3b.

[Effects of the invention] As described above, the electric wire insulation coating repair cover of the invention has good workability as it can be attached with a single touch operation, does not require taping with insulating tape, improves workability, and is easy to install. Due to the cutout portions provided at both ends of the engaging protrusion, the engagement can be easily dislocated and expanded by simply twisting the engaging protrusion, making installation and removal easy.

Furthermore, since a recess is placed inside the cover body and only the small diameter part smaller than the diameter of the insulated wire is narrowed, watertightness can be efficiently maintained between the small diameter part and the wire, preventing rainwater from entering. It also has the advantage of reducing manufacturing costs by reducing the number of parts.
