In a conventional spare battery holder, for example, as shown in FIG. 1, a battery is held in a holder main body 1 that is open at the top and has a recess 2 for storing the battery inside. The holder body 1 is only held down by the four side wall plates of 1.
Since the top of the spare battery holder is open, the battery is likely to come off from the holder body 1 when the device to which this spare battery holder is attached vibrates or is carried, and there are also restrictions on the mounting position of the holder body 1 relative to the device. The disadvantage is that it cannot be mounted sideways or downwards. In addition, the holder body 1 is made of a plastic resin material such as nylon in order to improve the ability to hold the battery; There is a drawback that the holding property of the expanding battery becomes poor.

Another conventional example is that, in order to improve battery retention, a spring coil is arranged inside one end wall in the lateral direction of the holder body, and this spring coil presses the negative electrode plate of the battery. However, this holder has the drawbacks that the number of parts increases, resulting in higher costs, and that the top surface of the holder body is open, making it still unstable to hold the battery.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described based on the drawings. In the figure, 10 is a holder body, which is made of a plastic resin material such as nylon. A recess 11 is formed inside the holder body 10 to accommodate the battery 30 with an open upper surface. That is, the bottom plate 1
Side plates 13 and 14 are erected parallel to each other on both ends of the battery 30 in the longitudinal direction at a distance approximately equal to the outer diameter of the battery 30 to be accommodated and at a height of approximately half or less of the outer diameter of the battery 30. , the bottom plate 1 at both ends of the side plates 13 and 14.
The outer diameter of the battery 30 to be housed is connected to the side plates 13, 14 at an interval substantially equal to the length of the battery 30 to be housed at both ends of the battery 2 in the transverse direction of the battery, and is higher than the height of the side plates 13, 14. End plates 15 and 16 at approximately equal height
erected. Connection bands 17 and 18 extend from the upper edges of the center portions of the side plates 15 and 16, respectively, and are formed integrally with the holder main body 10 by being thinner than the thickness of the side plates 13 and 14 to provide flexibility. This coupling band has an engaging protrusion 19 protruding from the tip of one coupling band 17, and the other coupling band 18.
Correspondingly, an engagement hole 20 into which the engagement protrusion 19 can be inserted is bored at the tip, and one coupling band is formed on the side edge of the engagement hole 20 toward the inside of the hole 20. A small protrusion 21 for locking the engagement protrusion 19 protrudingly provided on the protrusion 17 is provided. These one and the other coupling bands 17 and 18 hold the battery 30 by engaging their tips with each other and spanning around the upper part of the outer periphery of the middle part of the battery 30 housed in the recess 11 of the holder main body 10. Therefore, in consideration of ease of engagement and detachment and stability of holding the battery, the lengths of the coupling bands 17 and 18 are set such that the lengths of the coupling bands 17 and 18 are such that they are accommodated in the inside of the coupling bands 17 and 18 when they are engaged at their tips. It is desirable that a slight gap be formed between the outer periphery of the battery 30 and the outer periphery of the battery 30. Also, these coupling bands 1
7 and 18 may be curved in advance to approximate the outer periphery of the battery 30 in order to enhance the holding stability of the battery 30. 22 and 23 are the side plates 13 and 23 disposed at the central connecting ends of the side plates 13 and 14 and the bottom plate 12, respectively;
14 and the bottom plate 12, and prevents the side plates 13, 14, which are set up on the longitudinal edges of the bottom plate 12, from opening outward at the center thereof, and
4 to maintain a predetermined spacing. The connection reinforcing pieces 22, 32 can also have their inner inclined sides 22a, 23a in contact with the outer periphery of the central part of the battery 30 to be accommodated. In this case, the battery 30 is connected to the inclined sides 22a of the connection reinforcing pieces 22 and 23 at the upper and lower central parts of the holder body 10.
23a and the connecting bands 17 and 18 will stably hold the intermediate portion. Further, 24 and 25 are screw holes provided in the bottom plate 12 for mounting.

As described above, in the spare battery holder of the present invention, one coupling band 17 has an engaging protrusion 19 at the tip of each of the side plates 13 and 14 at the upper edge of the central part.
Since the other coupling band 18 having an engagement hole 20 and a small protrusion 21 for locking the protrusion 19 at its tip is extended, the battery housed in the accommodating part of the holder is attached to the coupling bands 17 and 18. Therefore, the battery is stably held and the battery does not come off the holder, and the spare battery holder can be attached to the device not only upward, but also sideways or downward. At the very least, it can be mounted appropriately on the rear or bottom surface of the device.

Further, since the spare battery holder of the present invention can be integrally molded from a plastic resin material, it can be manufactured at low cost, and has great practical effects such as being able to easily insert and take out spare batteries.
