に巻取るようにしてテープ走行経路を形成するこ
とにより、回転ドラムに取付けられた録再ヘツド
によつて磁気テープに情報を記録し、又は記録し
た情報を再生するようになされた磁気記録再生機
器において、 前記供給側リールの回転を検出するリール回転
センサと、 前記回転ドラムの回転を検出するドラム回転セ
ンサと、 前記リール回転センサによつて検出された供給
側リールの回転周波数と、磁気記録再生機器の各
動作モードに対応して設定された設定周波数とに
基づいて供給側リールの異常回転を判別する周波
数判別回路と、 該周波数判別回路からのリール異常回転信号に
基づき、前記ドラム回転センサからの回転信号と
磁気記録再生機器の動作モード情報とから回転ド
ラムへのテープ貼付き異常を判別するテープ貼付
判別回路と、 このテープ貼付判別回路からのテープ貼付信号
に基づいて前記回転ドラムと前記供給側リールと
の回転を停止する停止処理回路とを備えたことを
